Clean and comfortable I had a good night's sleep. Breakfast OK. Very frequent buses for Gatwick stop just round the corner and take 15 minutes. 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants although not a great selection.

Cons: No air-conditioning. No in-room provided fans (I'm sure they are available on request however, being British I did not want to bother anyone).
Cold bacon, cold egg. No apple juice, water being dispensed instead. The orange juice had a sour aftertaste. Hot chocolate tasted like something you would get from a machine in a MOT waiting area.
Pros: Large bed, no stains on the sheets. Free parking (only if you remind reception to give your VRM). Hot shower. Happy hour in the bar!
The sausages were hot..ish.
I probably won't stay at a travelodge again, if I need to stay at another 'budget' Hotel then, I'll stay at the one that Sir Lenny Henry promotes...

The staff were really friendly. Hotel itself was tired looking. Carpet in the room was worrying- very patchy fading.

Good location, friendly staff and a very quiet restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. 24hr bar was a nice surprise!

While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and while the staff were perfect hosts in all aspects, parts of the dining experience was very slow and didn't seem a priority. Seems one person is barman/receptionist/chef on some occasions at the same time..

The room was ok but needed the lift. Got a linked double for twin room I don't know why. The shower was lovely and accessible for my mum and I and we liked the view to the buses below. Didn't eat food here. Handy for pubs and local restaurants. Didn't enjoy my vegan meal much

Basic but great for the price! All staff were very friendly and helpful, great selection for breakfast, room was warm and bed comfy. It was snowing outside so no issue with needing any fan etc. Some dust in the room and general signs of wear and tear but overall very pleasant, comfortable, warm stay.

My husband and I stay at this Travelodge frequently and have never had any complaints. It is in a great location, in the middle of Crawley, near shops and restaurants and also near the train station. There is also a bus stop just across the road which we use regularly to take us to Gatwick. There is also free parking next to the hotel. The staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Marlene and Rui. The rooms themselves are generally clean and tidy and the beds are very comfortable.The bar is always well stocked and the food, we have found, is very good for a Travelodge. This is always our go-to hotel when we are travelling to Gatwick as the room prices are good and the hotel is conveniently located.
