Enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Only reason for giving 3 stars for location is because we don't drive so it was difficult to get anywhere. Would recommend this hotel for anybody visiting the area.

Nice clean basic room . comfy bed .drain smell from sink when used , but didn't cause enough of a problem for me to complain .need a charger socket closer to bed . Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend.

Great location for Santa pod, staff are lovely. Rooms are clean and spacious.
The bar was disappointing as they had a paucity of drinks. The ladies that cleaned the room were great and did a brilliant job.

My guests requested for an extra bed and were forced to buy another room which was so large that it accommodate what was required.
Pricing is miss guiding since it says from£47, however the charge applied was @£84.

Lovely place made excellent by the really welcoming and helpful staff.
Clean, comfortable, food was fine.
Really helpful during our training sessions there. Great place.

I booked a day stay reservation on 22nd January (Sunday) and receive my confirmation. On the website, I was asked to choose arrival time so I chose 9am. Prior to this, I did not see the earliest arrival time for "Day Use" and had tried contacting the hotel directly before booking twice but no one answered. I proceeded to book and on arrival at the hotel was told Day Use starts from 10am and I have to be charged £10 for early check-in. I informed the lady at the desk that it was not made clear on the website and I had been given the option of coming at 9am. I even showed her the confirmation email. I was then told by another lady who was standing on the side that I should have called with a look of disdain. I explained that I tried to and no one picked up. I showed the call log to the lady at the reception as I felt I had to prove the attempt to contact them and rather than acknowledge the failure to answer the call at the time, the lady on the side kept telling me that I should have called. Bearing mind, I had booked the room in the early hours of that day while I was working a night shift so this was a last minute booking. Furthermore, they had failed to answer the call twice and within a 10-15 minute interval. I received no apology but rather very rude behaviour from the member of staff. On top of that, I was charged an extra £10 for early check-in even though my confirmation said 9am and I had no information on the check-in time and possible extra cost

This was quite disappointing first experience with your hotels and I felt cheated. After a 13 hour shift and due to return the same day, the last thing I wanted was to be having a back and forth with staff just to rest. It was my first time staying at this location and only needed this as I was stranded. I was treated rudely (not by the lady who checked me in) by member of staff and charged an extra £10 for something which I had no prior knowledge of. I don't think I will be ever staying at this location ever again. Highly disappointed.

A refund of the £10 and an apology.

The hotel provides a very good service to people of different fields and backgrounds. The Friendly staff are a credit to the hotel. If you require anything they will act swiftly and whole heartedly. Thanks to the managers because you cannot have cheerful staff if you are not trying your best. They are always cheerful and ready to act. Very nice and clean rooms-far exceeding the star levels of the hotel. I wish you all the success and in you individual lives at home. The levels of competency are already set for success. The room was a little dated, no USB charging points and the coffee making facilities were minimal, just two teabags, 4 coffee sachets and 4 milk. The staff were excellent and very friendly. I'd recommend staying here at the quiet hotel with the little bar for refreshments with friends.
