Gorgeous spa weekend away, lovely and clean, staff were all helpful and polite. Food was divine. The only down side is advice given prior to stay about checkout times and treatment times varied kn who you spoke to. Some communication problems to be ironed out but absolutely brilliant otherwise. Would definitely recommend!

This is a nice hotel but somewhat dated. The rooms are decent but nothing overly special. Staff could do with some very serious improvements in customer service. A number were rude and unhelpful, particularly in relation to the restaurant. Menus on the website do not correspond to what’s available. Breakfast very limited. All that said, the spa facilities are incredible. Wouldn’t highly recommend for families or anyone under age of 60.

Great local place for a spa break. Excellent food, great staff, very comfortable rooms. Decor could do with a bit of an update in places but doesn't impact the level of service or the fantastic experience

I found what seemed like a very good spa deal and booked my friend and I in for a day. What a fabulous experience! Staff were so welcoming, the atmosphere was very calming. We left in the afternoon feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We shall definitely be back, thank you 🤗

We enjoyed our one night stay at Bank House, which was a pit stop on a long journey. We had a cosy room, which was just that - compact but comfortable. We made use of the spa facilities which were generally excellent, although the steam room was out of action. We ate in the bar in the evening, and the food was great quality pub/lounge style menu and good value for money (we both had steaks). Breakfast was in the garden room, and again was good quality, with dishes made to order and a surcharge for certain items. We would definitely stay again.

A very nice hotel set in great surroundings. Rooms large and comfortable. Fast internet. Nice bar with decent food menu which turned out to be very tasty. Friendly staff. Didn't have time to check out the fitness centre but staying again in a weeks' time so will try it then. Slight issue at breakfast but quickly resolved.

Very helpful receptionist, good service considering I just came out of a general anaesthetic! Would stay again on account of the level of service. Great cooked breakfast. Overall gave impression of being a well managed hotel.

Comfortable Stay. We recently returned from an overnight stay at the hotel. Overall a nice experience. Personally i found the hotel decor to be dated but some people may love that look, my friend liked the colours and the look which is very different larger hotel chains. My friend celebrated her birthday during our stay and I found the receptionist very accomodating when informed. The rooms were a good size, we had a twin room. My bed was fine but my friends squeaked, lovely big bath with shower and lots of tea and coffee which was great. The spa experience was okay, smaller than expected and the steam room was out of order , would have been very disappointed if we had booked solely for the spa experience. Found some of the staff to be lacking in information when asked and no effort made to find out but I must say James the bartender, although he didn't have many of the answers was polite and had a great attitude. Jevon (I think this was his name, apologies if it's not he's the young black man) who came on at 23:00 was amazing!! Within a minute of coming on shift he was able to answer the questions we had asked the previous staff (what items were available on the 24hr menu) we were previously given wrong menus and noone seem to know what was available. The young man was friendly, informative and had a great attitude An asset to your establishment!! My friend had the ham sandwich and said it was one of the best she's had! We had a good night's rest, no noise in the hall ways which was lovely! Breakfast was lovely! The quality of the breakfast provided was good and varied. Well done! There seem to be some miss communication on the day of departure as we had a late check out, the house keeping lady entered the room immediately after announcing herself once which lead to an awkward encounter. When my friend informed her we had a late check out , she said this information was not on her list but when we informed reception as we checked out, the receptionist confirmed the information was on the housekeeping list...... Overall it was a nice experience, we enjoyed our night's stay and would probably stay again if passing through that area.
