Very good 4 star, would stay again. The check in process felt longer than required although all staff were attentive and friendly. The decor is an odd mix of traditional (dark wood panelling and old fashioned pictures) and modern nautical theme (of the parts that have been updated it is very nice). The rooms appear to have been recently renovated with the exception of the bathrooms.
Some really nice touches:
Decorated room for birthday celebration
Nice robes for kids and adults
Activity pack, drink and snacks in the room for kids.
Sweet treats in the room for adults
Fresh milk and filtered water available from dispensers in the hall ways
Nice bathroom amenities
Garden bar and lounge area

1 night stay before boarding a cruise.
Lovely, clean room with fluffy white dressing gowns and slippers.
We didn't use the spa but the breakfast in the morning was lovely.
We also left the car for the 14 nights of the cruise which was handy. The taxi to and from the port was £20-£25 each way and took about 20 minutes.
They could do with a little more signage as there are roadworks leading up to the hotel and roundabout!

What a brilliant stay we had. We stayed as part of the Paulton's Park package and are so grateful we booked with this hotel. All staff were lovely and really friendly. The night manager was particularly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our breakfast was wonderful and our whole stay was lovely. We thought the best part of our holiday would be the theme park, however we had just as good a time with our stay at the hotel, it was super family friendly. Thank you to you and your team for a brilliant experience. We are going to book this hotel again when we visit Paulton's Park next time.

Had an amazing spa day here today! Booked a twilight package for 4 people at £105 each, Ash the manager, Daisy and Callum were fantastic! The spa was amazing, clean, we all loved it .
- Only brief Con the Twilight package specifies a meal, but it turned out to be a meal from the bar menu: club sandwich, soup etc which was not a good surprise after having not eaten specifically waiting for this nice meal.
However! Management was understanding and arranged for us to have a main meal which we all appreciated massively. Thank you again Ash.
The food was absolutely, no word of a lie, gorgeous. Overall, I totally recommend. For £105 it was an lovely spa day for my birthday, massive shout out and thanks to the chefs, the meal completed the day spectacularly.

If there were stars for the spa, it would be a 2 star. The restaurant was 3.5 star as we had a couple of negative experiences. The spa: We paid for 55 minute and 25 minute massages and facials. The 25 minute massages were only just 20 minutes. We complained and were refunded some of our money, which was fair. They stopped serving teas and coffees half way through the day - one of the things we like about the spa is that you can get a coffee by the pool :( they said they were too busy. Changing room and seating areas were not clean enough.
Dinner was great. Good quality food and tasty. Very happy. However, breakfast was a whole other issue. Hair in our eggs florentine, totally raw fried egg, they forgot our toast until we asked for it and had to ask, and they only gave us enough tea for 2.5 cups full when there were 4 of us! All avoidable experiences, I thought. They had enough staff but they just weren't efficient or attentive enough.

Booked a last minute spa day for 2 at the Solent Hotel & Spa. Had a lovely relaxing day, great facilities, enjoyed the steam room & sauna, pool and jacuzzi could of been warmer but were still nice. Had the most wonderful facial and foot massage, thankyou to Ella. The day was finished off with the best afternoon tea I ever had, so delicious and the young lady who served us was so friendly and attentive. Look forward to coming again.

A few months back I had booked a massage for myself and my wife. Staff were great and received a phone call a day before the appointment to confirm that all was okay.

When we arrived, we walked through the hotel reception lobby which had Xmas decorations. We got to the Spa reception and staff were friendly and greeted you with a smile, we were taken to a waiting area which was calming and relaxing. We were offered drinks and some food while we waited before going in for the massage.

We were then taken through to enjoy our 1 Hour wave stone massage, highly recommended it. It's brilliant and you leave feeling relaxed and refreshed, Massage therapist's were absolutely great, thank you to all the staff. Will be returning in the near future.

A hotel just off J9 of the M27, with plenty of parking.
It has a pool, gym & spa & it’s well designed & decorated with a unique layout as you enter the main doors & head inwards.
We were there for a 3course dinner which was very tasty & served by pleasant & attentive staff.
Would give it 5* if it was warmer!
