Handywater Cottage B&B

We booked a last minute getaway for 2 nights and not only the room was impeccable but the service and welcome from both Natalie and Ray was outstanding, they really go the extra mile in making you feel comfortable. I can not speak highly enough and will definitely come back for another visit.

Superb, very little detail has been looked at!
The check in experience was great, the room was exceptionally clean and everything was catered for, I lovely the little fridge in the walk in cupboard with the small bottle of fresh milk and plenty of cool water. Tea and Coffee in the room was well stocked, which I loved and there was a shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. The towels were lush and plumb like a 5* hotel and the bedlinen was show-home status! We stayed in the Sunflower Room. We had breakfast at 9.30 in the house opposite again this was excellent, highest quality of everything and the eggs are from their own hens! Highly recommend.

Beautiful property and grounds, gracious hosts, immaculately clean and every amenity you could think of for a comfortable stay. Simply wonderful!

I’ve stayed in many b&bs,and can honestly say this is the best,Natalie and ray are the perfect hosts,nothing was to much trouble,very comfortable accommodation plus many extras that make your break so much better.

What an amazing place 🏡 , we were greeted with such kindness and this continued throughout our stay. We had the sunflower 🌻 room. The room was fantastic. Clean, modern, and pleasant. Now! The breakfast was espectacular as the eggs are also from their own hens 🐔 located inside the B&B, simply delicious.
We will be back over this year with our families, that way, they will have this amazing and such as peacefully time like we had the opportunity to.

We are avid seekers of B & B's with that extra special touch and just when we thought we had found the best B & B we stumbled across the "Handy Waters Cottages". What a fabulous setup with lots of history and picturesque grounds and plenty of wildlife to enjoy . Very comfortable & clean cottage room with adjacent Kitchen facilities . Ray & Natalie were amazing hosts who took time out to chat and share stories. We spent two nights there and were so lucky with the weather , it was like being in the South of France . Each morning we were graced with the best breakfast experience you can imagine . Freshly laid eggs from their own hens, mouth-watering fruit skewers and Natalie’s scrumptious homemade vodka marmalade. This place is going to take some beating. We can’t wait to go back again. Natalie and Ray are fabulous hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Breakfast is a wonderful experience. Loved it, we'll be back.
