Travelodge Stafford M6

The room was very good and came with a fan for the warm night, which I had on all night. Also there was a kettle and coffee, tea, sugar, sweetener. The king-size bed was comfortable with plump pillows. It was a very well kept, clean room, for the next customer. The service was very good. The location was very good, by the fact that the Hotel is a few hundred yards away from the M6, so you can't hear the motorway vehicles at all. It has a large lake, with a large fountain in the middle. You can walk all the way around the lake. There's all the usual cafes and shops, Costa, Burger King, KFC, WHSmiths, Marks And Spencer shop, etc. Also a drive through Costa. A large car park, fuel station, lorry park.
All in all, 5 stars for everything.

We stayed overnight in our campervan on route to our destination. The toilets and wash rooms were very clean. The coffee at Costa was a bit weak compared to their usual but was still nice and the bacon roll was really tasty.

Great no frills value stopover. Quiet with large family room and friendly service. Services hub next door has range of places to eat and drink (Costa, pret, burger King, m&s, kfc). Can take to room or and can sit in as nice booths and lake to relax. Basic but clean and friendly. Ask about discount in Costa if stay.

Superb one night stay before heading to Alton towers. Super comfy bed, wonderful staff. Was a bit worried about being by M6 but honestly it's a lovely quiet hotel.

Staff were excellent and service was way above the quality of the establishment they are working in. I have seen cleaner carpets in a busy student bar that is due a refurb.
Didn't feel like i wanted to walk round the room with bair feet. Bathroom i appreciate a non slip wetroom floor. But it was more like standing on a gravel carpark than a bathroom floor.
Beds were clean and well made. TV size disappointing. Price really not appropriate for the quality of the venue. In desparate need of a refurbishment. Full praise to the staff that drag the scores up.

A great location and friendly staff. The room was comfortable for the price but had an odd smell about it. Would stay there again.

Friendly welcome from Julie the lovely receptionist, always smiling when we saw her. Room clean and warm. Ample parking. Not too far to drive into Stone. Dogs welcome £20 for the entire stay

Yes it's tired but it very clean tons of hot water & BATHS!! (wonderful after a cold day standing outside) & the staff are lovely so good value for the money.
