Arrived after a day out at Cotswold Wildlife Park which isn't far from The Wychwood Inn. The Inn was easy to find with Google Maps in a quiet area. There is plenty of free parking on site. The first impression upon arrival was amazing. We were greeted by the staff which was a quick check-in and told all the information we needed to know. The Inn's main building used to be a 15-century pub and this is still available to sit in. There is another seating area inside with the bar nearby and even a lounge-style seating area at the front of the building. Massive garden with plenty of covered and open seating with two egg chairs which added a nice touch. The room we stayed in, Room 3 was exactly the same as the pictures and was even better than we expected. The little touches made it extra special. There is everything you would normally expect. Even though we were on the road, there wasn't any noise and the property is kept tidy and clean. Breakfast was presented with fruit, cereals, fruit compote, and cooked-to-order English breakfast or salmon for those who wanted it. Nothing was out of reach when we wanted to swap breakfast items for something else. Tea, coffee, apple, orange, and cranberry juice as well. We didn't eat dinner, but the food looked amazing so worth a try. The staff was amazing and couldn't fault. We felt safe and looked after. We visited Oxford a lot to go out which is about 40 minutes drive, but plenty to do near the Inn depending on your style.

Room was really lovely, massive bed which was really comfy. So clean too. Lovely extra touches and the breakfast was great. We also had dinner there both nights and loved the pizzas. Staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

An absolute delight! Dog friendly, decent local beers changed regularly, beautiful spacious garden with outside bar and wood fired pizza oven. Food menu is limited but top notch. I would happily spend the whole day here which is really dangerous as its not cheap!

We stayed in this hotel while visiting The Big Feastival. From the moment we booked in until we left we had nothing but fantastic service. Every member of staff were friendly and nothing was too much for them. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. We only had breakfast but there was lots of choice and delicious every day. There are lots of places to visit nearby the hotel but it is in a quiet non- touristy beautiful area. We thoroughly recommend this accomodation.

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend of my birthday and we had a such a lovely time. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. We ended up having dinner here both nights we were there, all of our meals were delicious. Breakfast was wonderful, we were served almost as soon as we sat down. The bedroom we stayed in was perfect, very clean and plenty of amenities - even complimentary flapjacks! We’re already planning on coming back to stay during the summer! We would highly recommended staying here, it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!
