Located in the University area of Lincoln, not too far in walking distance from the Brayford Pool where there are plenty of restaurant and pub choices, this hotel was a pleasant place to stay for a couple of nights. Very happy with the room with a comfortable bed and a nice sofa to relax on. Breakfast was good, with a wide range of options. Note that parking was extra and you must use a machine in the car park right by the hotel. A good place to stay in Lincoln, not too far from the city centre or the railway station.

The hotel was ideal for us with close parking at reasonable price. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower and toilet was very clean and was adequate in size. Even though was was situated on a roundabout on a main route you could not here the traffic. Only down side to our stay was the breakfast layout it was like a merry go round. But all in all a very pleasant stay.

I have used this hotel on numerous occasions to visit my daughter who is at Uni in Lincoln. The location is really convenient and it has a carpark which always has spaces. The carpark is quite expensive on a day rate as it does not belong to the hotel but I use it because of the location to the hotel.
Rooms are on the small side - but hey it's just a bed for the night. Beds are super comfy and the room has everything you need. Take your own hairdryer - there is one in the room but you'd be quicker to get your mate to blow on your hair !!!
Staff here are always really helpful and cheerful and will go out of their way to may you feel welcome.
Downside is breakfast - it was very very busy this time and they ran out of food, plus it was chaotic as you go into a small enclosed area for all food and drinks. What does annoy me here is people eat breakfast then stuff grab and go bags with pastries and fruit to take away with them. Really selfish when there were others without any breakfast waiting for more food to be brought out. It should be either or, not both - maybe asking for a grab bag from staff might stop this issue.
You just can't stop people thinking they are getting freebies I guess !!
All in all a good hotel, in a convenient location at a reasonable price. No it's not the prettiest hotel but it does the job !

The room is comfortable and clean. The hotel is located extremely near to the Issac Newton Building in University of Lincoln where i worked. It will be better if the room had a small bar fridge for guest especially those who stay for more than 5 days which is in my case. The staff are helpful when requesting for help. Breakfast requires much improvement in term of varieties (taste is good), same food for 14 days that i had stayed. I hoped for a gym or swimming pool but none available, at least the availability of a gym room is good.

1 night stay 06 Oct. Check in Staff member was very courteous and helpful, especially with preferred room choice, and the on-site parking system which isn’t set up for foreign phone numbers! Thank you for helping Sir!
Hotel was clean, well presented, and modern, and although on a busy road is very quiet…no issues at all, the rooms are well soundproofed.
It’s a 6-7 min walk over the bridge to the marina and only 10 mins to the shopping area. And you can leave your car at the hotel for a full 24 hours from check in, very useful.
Nice 1 night stay, would def stay again.

Good hotel and value for money. Breakfast was fine what was expected. Room clean and tidy. Reception area nice. Parking £7.50 a night/day only down side. Mcdonald's and pizza hut very close by. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall happy

A fantastic hotel located ideally close to the train station, university and city centre. Really friendly, helpful staff that made our stay pleasant and memorable. Extremely comfortable beds and shower room with soap and shower cream/ shampoo provided. Great choice if options available at breakfast which the staff are very efficient at restocking as required. Overall, we had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lincoln and hope to return soon.

Can't fault the people there, however, they should clean the sofas in the rooms every now and then. The one in my room I didn't dare sit on it. Shower head didn't stay up in position. But...but...one of the rare places to have an iron and ironing board in the room! 10 points for that. Breakfast is ok, nothing to shout about.
