The staff were great, however the room wasn't that good. The main problem was the shared bathroom. If the races are on and/or the town is busy, the shared shower and bathrooms become extremely busy. Attempting to fit in around my plans in the town, I couldn't take a shower for two days, simply because it was in high demand when I was free.

The business and property can't do much about this naturally, but at the end of the day despite having three odd bathrooms on different floors, it's a real issue.

General room quality was good, but the bathroom situation was a big issue.

Positive: Comfy bed. Negative: Toilets weren’t clean. There was urine on toilet as well as it being broken. Pls see photo. Loud doors opening most of Night therefore waking me up. Hot water in shower wasn’t working properly. Miscommunication about the check in point and the place you stay, this was very ill informed. Staff weren’t helpful and quite rude. Window in bedroom wouldn’t even open, kept falling down. The room was already very hot. No signs of air con, if the window was broken there should’ve been some way of cooling the room down. So hardly slept all night, uncomfortable. Wish I could get my money back as it wasn’t worth it at all..

Positive: Friendly stff. Basic but adequate room, and they let me bring my bicycle in which was a big help.. Negative: Would have rather not had to pay extra for checking out after 10 a.m. since I didn't arrive til 4 PM.

Positive: Clean. Comfy. Spacious room. Had a laugh with the staff on arrival. Negative: No curtian or blind in the bathroom!.

I have already notified the management 2 times to say that the shower is clogged. Hygiene in the bathroom is at a minimum. Beds and room cleanliness average level. they are not at all tolerant with schedules. I locked the room until Sunday and for their convenience and their system they wanted me to pay for it day by day. today I didn't have time to pay for the room before lunch and they threw my food in the fridge and then they had my bags found at the reception. I don't think that's the right way to behave given the verbal agreements. bad bathroom.

Basic , but very good value for money. Few interesting touches to design in the room like "crocodile skin" wallpaper. Hard working cleaner lady therefore a shared bathroom is sparkling clean. The location is great.

Budget accommodation with shared ablutions. Ideally located for the shopping centre of Cheltenham.

Didn't have a great experience at this place. Travelled here for work and the amenities in the room seemed nice on the website. Upon entering my room there was a strange smell. Tried to open window wouldn't stay open so I had to prop it open with a mug. I opened the microwave to find meat of some kind in there that had mould on it so I don't know how long it had been there but it was definitely the source of the smell.
Also noticed the vent discolouration looked like a leak of some kind. I let the building know about all this to which the response I got was they're fully booked so they can't move me. No sort of resolution, refund or compensation was offered for the sub par standard I had to experience.
This may be a one off occurrence for this property so definitely make your own decision if you want to travel here but I will not be going back there personally!
