A traditional pub, with all the things you want - just great. Staff were absolutely lovely, despite our chaotic entrance with screaming baby and dog peeing in the floor. Food was astoundingly priced, great quality and big portions. Shame there wasn't a larger desert selection, but we had a lovely cheesecake despite this. Thank you to the Red Lion, it was just what we needed.

Great food! We had Ribs, Pork Belly, Vegan salad, egg and chips, Lasagne, Fishcakes and child's scampi. We would return. Dogs welcome!! Great outdoor space but definitely needs a clean so we ate inside. Inside was lovely.

I cannot rate the rooms as I didn't stay here I only stopped off for a beer with my family. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The prices are quite good. We had a nice selection of ales to try. The pub is in the middle of the town, so well positioned. I would definitely go back another time and maybe try the food

We had a double room over the bar, double bed also a single, shower, wardrobe, TV and there was a kettle with tea and coffee. The room was pleasant, over looking the street. Evening meal gluten free curry was tasty, my partner had egg ham and chips. Breakfast was hot and help yourself full English, toast, tea or coffee. Love people very friendly.

We have had two lovely meals at this busy venue. The burgers were definitely a favourite and the beer had my approval .Parking out side the Red lion after 6pm is free.

Looking for a dog friendly pub for a Sunday meal whilst staying in Trefelyn, this is just a short drive away. Excellent Sunday carvery, really decent price. Delicious. Really busy which just shows it does really well with their food and service

Absolutely gorgeous food. Very welcoming staff & customers. We love the ambience if this place. Whether it's quiete & cosy in the lounge, or fairly quiet to fairly busy in the bar. A great all round pub.
The lounge has great sofas & chairs to get comfortable in. Dogs are made to feel as welcome as the customers. 6 stars.

Recently stayed here after a fishing trip to Cleweddeg reservoir. Fanstitic welcome, excellent service, great food. Friendly atmosphere, clean and tidy rooms. A big thank you to all the staff 😊😊😊
