Brilliant location. Excellent, helpful people. Loved the buffet breakfast! Fabulous staff that were happy to help you in any way they could. This is a lovely old-fashioned place with very friendly people - I'd happily go again.

Was a 3⭐️ hotel at some point... a long while ago. However its a community ran place now so think more comfy hostal for the time being. Given time and investment it qill be good again. Would I stay again..
Not sure. The room price is excellent but the view from our room wasnt great. The water in the rooms cannot be drank which is odd in 2022. Most staff where friendly and the cold breakfast was good, even if the amount of milk was very low for ceral for all people. But again its a community pub /b&b so in time and with a little more money it will be something the community will rightly be proud of.

Such a lovely little place! Very basic, with no frills, but then it's highly affordable. So very lovely, friendly, relaxed and welcoming. The location is just beautiful! If we can, we'll definitely come again. Thank you making us feel so very at home and welcome 😊

The hotel has been bought and run by the community. It's lively and has atmosphere.
The room we had was spacious, clean and quiet.
The hotel is in the process of having a great deal of TLC thrown at it, and when it's finished this hotel will be difficult to get into.
The food is good and the portions enormous and reasonably priced.
This is going to be our default place to stay when we go back hill walking. It's very central to all major ranges.
There are no complaints or constructive criticism I can make here; this place is a gem. We will definitely be back.
Lovely stay. Thank you very much.

Stayed twice now - with my wife in Spring 2022 and with her plus 2 friends in December 2022. This lovely old-school inn is a slice of hospitality from a bygone age. Staff are kind and genuinely interested in their guests stays and always have good recommendations for things to do, food is great, the bar is small and friendly.

Rooms are well equipped and spacious. Parking is easy. Its quiet. Prices are cheap. Just want to get back there.... can't recommend it enough.
