The room we had was spacious with underfloor heating, and very good value against equivalent rooms in the town centre. WiFi was very patchy and non existent at points, which was a bit frustrating in an area with limited mobile data. Common areas are lovely with grand chandeliers, mirrors and paintings. Weather was poor so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the grounds.
Breakfast was freshly prepared but was a little dry. At dinner, it felt like the chef was shooting for something in the way of fine dining, but didn't quite get there, at least for the meal we had. Smoked duck starter was good, the beef fillet main course was a bit disappointing and the lemon tart pastry was a bit tough. I'm not sure the waiting staff need to check we are enjoying every course.
Otherwise, the service and staff are very helpful throughout.

Have stayed here before 5 years ago and fond of it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Built c 1770s. Grand old house. Lovely rooms, super food and dining. It is charming. Grounds are beautiful. Has a lake, snooker room, self catering I stables. Room for wheelchair access, and room for mobility access.

Attended a wedding here. Beautiful place, comfortable rooms, breakfast was OK. Would have preferred a buffet as some of us are fussy. Fantastic location for a wedding. Staff were very helpful.

Had afternoon tea with my children, the food was exceptional, impeccable service, could not fault a thing. Beautiful surroundings, fantastic value for money as so much to eat we couldn't eat it all. Children absolutely loved the food and venturing into the garden after, lovely afternoon. Most definitely coming again. Thank you for a beautiful afternoon :)

A friend bought us a voucher for an Afternoon Tea for two. We are so glad we went. The food was delicious and the service was faultless. We were even given a tour of the rooms. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

We had my sisters wedding at Nanteos. Fantastic day, location was brilliant, Staff were really nice and friendly and the food was great, highly recommend to anyone.
