Hotel Indigo Cardiff, an IHG Hotel

We loved this hotel. I can't recommend it highly enough. The location is fantastic although a bit surprising when you arrive because there is no sign of the hotel. You have to go into the Dominion Arcade to reach it. But when you go out the other entrance to the Arcade, you are in the heart of Cardiff. The staff was wonderful, always helpful and courteous and always with a smile. Our room was large and shiny clean and the bathroom was very well laid out with a marvelous shower. The room came with a refrigerator and daily complimentary water. I have no complaints at all.

A great hotel - funky individual design and decoration which I like. Good wheelchair access and the accessible room with a wet room is almost perfect for me (wheelchair user). A couple of tweaks and it would be perfect.

The accessible room is a good size, comfortable bed and a great wet room shower room. Used room service - food quality was fine but attached to the hotel is a Marco Pierre restaurant.

The staff member at reception was really lovely and helpful too.

Location is very central and not far from the train station - about a 10 minute walk/push.

Highly recommended place to stay if you are visiting beautiful Cardiff.

Great hotel located in the Center of Cardiff near the main shopping Center. The hotel entrance is located in an arcade . The decoration of the room is great and has all the facilities expected like fridge , safe etc including free bottles of water in the fridge bath kettle with tea and coffee ☕️. Clean with great hot and cold breakfast at a very reasonable price. Staff were very helpful. The hotel restaurant/ bar closes at 10:20 which was a bit early for me

Friendly staff and amazing design in this hotel. I felt that this interior represents the culture and gives a cozy feeling. Room was clean and stylish
Also loved the amount of sockets there and especially the wooden key. The only thing I felt lacking of is the proper bath as there was a shower instead. The rest was nice

Nice quirky rooms and decor. Simple touches that make a big difference. Room was lovely with great features, everything was perfectly clean. Very handy location, right centre in the middle of the city, just a short walk from the Castle. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

We have stayed here many times when visiting our daughter who is at Cardiff University. Supercool Welsh theme throughout the hotel and the rooms. Reception staff are always really friendly and welcoming.

Comfy beds and nice linen. Great location and right in heart of Cardiff - NCP 2 mins away and free when staying here.



Have had dinner at the MPW restaurant on top floor of hotel a number of times and it is excellent.



Can’t recommend highly enough

I had nice stayed in this hotel. The staff was friendly. Room was cleaned and comfortable. Breakfast has good range of selection. I like the fitness facilities, the gym room is in good size, not overly equipped, there are plenty of space in the room. All of the fitness machines in good working conditions. Water and towels are provided. Although it would be good to have cleaning spray so that users can wipe clean the equipments after used. I would definitely go back again.

First class Hotel, stayed here twice now and I can't wait to book again. Next time I'm eating in Marco Pierre White's restaurant and the top floor though. Reception staff are amazing. Rooms are great. Breakfast was lovely, although, the 'full Welsh' breakfast was a bit on the slim side for a big English man.
