The restaurant has clearly had a refurbishment recently and it looks lovely. Great menu and super tasty food. We came as a group of 5 for lunch and then again the next day for Sunday lunch. Both times the food was spot on, coffee nice, desserts nice too!

For lunch I had a salmon and egg mayo which was absolutely delicious. For Sunday lunch I had the lamb shoulder which was excellent too.

Definitely recommend!

We have really enjoyed our lunch at Hafod Hotel's restaurant.

The menu had great choices for everyone's taste.

The food was freshly cooked, nicely presented and very tasty.

The staff was very knowledgeable, polite, attentive to all our needs and we have received excellent service.

Waiting for food time and prices were decent too.

Definitely recommend it!

It's not often every comes together to get a cracking experience. Had a morning at the Elan Valley and stopped to have a look at Devils Bridge. Impromptu lunch sat outside. Perfect service by Joe, good beer and fabulous fish and chips. Table service was prompt and attentive. Definitely now a destination for us now. Must try the hotel.

Called in on a very busy day. All outside tables were full. However, our drinks order was taken very promptly by a very pleasant waitress (Tanya) who didn't stop smiling all the time she worked. We only had time for a quick lunch so had the pulled pork ciabatta and vegetable ciabatta. Both were excellent.
The cheesecake and toffee apple sponge were superb (we found time for those!)
Would definitely love to visit again if we were in the area, next time for a more leisurely meal.
thank you.

We had dinner here which I couldn't fault. Excellent homemade quality food and great service from the staff. Very friendly. Close to the devil's bridge falls which you can here if you sit out the front.

What a lovely hotel, serving the most fantastic food, the rooms have great character and style, comfortable beds, WiFi, TV, tea and coffee and an ensuite bathroom with fab shower and toiletries. Our room had a gorgeous view and our stay was wonderful. Breakfast was plentiful and the choice was amazing, what a feast to start the day! The service was very good throughout, even when the Hotel had a large group booking in the evening, we were advised of this and our service was still top quality. Being so near to Devils Bridge, the steam railway, it's cafe , chocolate shop, great ice-cream shop and another cafe ( didn't visit this), means you can easily leave your car and enjoy a weekend on foot. Devils Bridge Falls....that in itself is a great walk ( walking boots) with amazing scenery and views especially during the autumn sunshine.
Just fabulous!

Stayed for 2 nights full board at this wonderful hotel last week. Absolutely faultless - superb room on the top floor with fabulous views and sounds of the waterfalls, a huge comfy bed, delicious breakfast and dinner (and plenty of it!), and of course the location, which is stunning! And the icing on the cake was that every single staff member was friendly and cheerful, all lovely people who had time to chat and have a bit of banter. The location is perfect for visiting the fascinating Devils Bridge Falls (just 1 minute's walk away!) and then there's Aberystwyth which is a lovely seaside town 20 minutes away by car, or an hour away by steam train from the station just around the corner. Either journey takes you through some beautiful scenery, definitely worth doing. Top tip: after dinner, keep your eyes open for a vacant sofa in front of the log burner and finish the evening off watching the flames with a nightcap! Magic!
