A magical land in north Wales. Our 3 day visit was a total joy. Amazing weather, nothing was too much trouble for all the staff, both in the hotel and the village - our room was so clean and comfortable and the food was beyond words!! Thank you so much to everyone for making us so welcome.

Such a beautiful place, stayed the night, room was clean, with complimentary toiletries. Service was excellent nothing was too much trouble. So much to see, beach, woodland walks, amazing buildings, shops, pizza place, a couple of ice-cream parler's, cafe, town hall sells beer. Plenty of parking. Have enclosed a couple of photos.

Wonderful setting with magnicent views. Hotel Port Meirion is a really nice hotel however I feel it is grossly overpriced in todays world. We stayed here 7 years ago and since then I think it's room revamps have made it quite bland, white walls white bedding and cheap IKEA white lamps. Not what you expect at a hotel which thinks it's 5 Star. However that said the staff are all wonderfully friendly, helpful and hard working which has made our stay a joy. I don't think we will return as prices are guaranteed to remain too high but the memories and experience of two visits will mean that I will recommend people visit at least once.

We went for Sunday lunch and it was delicious. You need to book in advance. And if you buy the Sunday lunch entry to the Portmeirion village is free. A good choice in the menu. Staff really friendly. Made you feel at home. Reasonably priced considering entry to village was free.

Wanted morning coffee and pastry, told private function for guests but if we walked back up the hill we could get takeaway coffee and walk back down again to stand at wall...I have disabilities in my legs and my mum is 72 not unfit but still could not really understand the issue..it wasn't lunchtime and the place was pretty empty all we wanted was a sit down a coffee and look at the view over the water. Marred the afternoon really felt unwelcome.

Keep it a secret, but Portmeirion is a fantastic place to visit and stay. The location and surroundings are exceptional the accommodation is wonderfully unique and the staff here are so helpful and friendly. But please, don't tell anyone.

Didn't stay in the hotel overnight but the interior was luxurious and the food was amazing. I literally have never tasted food so good. More expensive than the usual hotel food but the food is prepared by a 2 star Michelin chef.
Well worth the money for that special occasion

Whilst wondering around the portmeirion attraction we thought we’d stop in the Portmeirion hotel for a cup of coffee, went to the bar which was empty. The restaurant was empty, no one around except staff, all looking as if they wished they were somewhere else, I said could I have a latte and was told that they don't serve hot drinks to non-guests as they’re about to serve the afternoon teas, what great service from this young gentleman who seemed very disinterested in serving. Won’t rush to this place again. To make a latte takes roughly 3 minutes.
