This hotel is brand new, clean and very helpful team. Felt very welcome! Had a large family of 15 inc kids and everyone of us felt very please with the experience and service! They managed to place us together as it wasnt too busy on the night we stayed. The breakfast was very good and the fact that kids eat for free is just brilliant for families. Take advantage of this hotel as its probably the best Premier inn to stay in UK as its brand spanking NEW!

Staff were massively busy but always smiling. Room was excellent standard. There is parking 5 minutes away in a huge station car park. Steps up to reception, there is a disabled lift but was never working for complicated reasons. Would recommend

A decent job has been made of converting an old hotel. Inside you are now typical corporate Premier Inn.
It had only been opened 5 days when we stayed.
Parking is non existent, in fairness many hotels in Llandudno are in the same position.
They were doing their best but were obviously pushed for staff and a number of them were new to this type of work so a steep learning curve.
Housekeeping wasn't organised.
Asked for room to be serviced at 10 as we went out but still not done at 4:30 when we came back for showers and a snooze before going out to dinner.
Meant we had to go down out of the way, came back to find towels dumped on bed, no teaspoons , she'd taken them but not replaced. No new bottles of water in fridge. Only little things but a bit of a nuisance playing hunt the spoon.
Duvet cover had a 6 inch rip in it. 1 towel had a hole. Again small stuff but not what you expect.
Breakfast is fine but personally I wouldn't go for the evening meal deal as a couple. There's lots of places to eat out. However if you were a family with children I think it could well make sense. As a retired couple not our thing.

Location excellent but NO parking making it very difficult when you have a wheelchair, even for dropping off. Had lovely adapted room but was up on 3rd floor with TINY window high in eaves. My husband is over 6ft tall and even he couldn't see out at all. Very cave-like and dark. Was worried about fire regs as you can't use life in a fire but staff explained disabled evacuation very well. Reception is down half a floor from pavement level and disabled lift was tempremental but staff on hand to get it going. Only a month old and they weren't impressed with it! It is a restored old building, not purpose built, hence the 'odd' entrance into reception and the high upper windows,I know.
Restaurant was lacking some choices every night but staff friendly and pleasant. The food we did have each night was served hot and well cooked so we were pleased with what we did choose.

One of the nicest Premiers I have stayed in!! Relatively new! Great location with the shops , restaurants and ice cream parlours right on your door step.. plus there's quite a big retail park round the corner and an Asda within walking distance! The sea is a 2 minute walk.. Rooms were presented really well , clean and a good size ! Had a few drinks in the bar.. it was busy because of the football so the waiting was a bit prolonged.. however, all in all , one of the best

PROS:
The location on Vaughn Street in central to everything in Llandudno The rooms are fresh and tidy and the staff is very courteous.

CONS:
1.) The parking is limited to 3 available spaces for guests but this is not unusual for accommodation in this area.
2.) You have steps to walk down from the street into the lobby, there is a tiny lift that fits a wheelchair or 2 persons with no space for luggage. The check in area has 2 self check in kiosks which are not always in working order and I despise self-check-in. There is one member of staff to help you check in but it felt long-winded and tiresome.
3.) The chairs in the room sit very low with no back support and they do not fit under the desk in the room.
4.) Cold breakfast: Somehow the £9.50 buffet breakfast at 8:30am was stone cold; eggs, beans, mushrooms were not even warm and the bacon was rock hard.
5.) If you require a change of towels, the bin to be emptied or more coffee/tea/milk in your room, you must let the front desk know and move the placard from the inside door handle to outside door handle requesting a room refresh. Seems simple enough but don’t expect these things to be automatically done for you regardless of a one week stay.
6.) The complimentary WiFi goes offline about 50 per cent of the time and mobile reception often drops for a period of up to several minutes or more.

Overall this Premier Inn is likely a better stay compared to the local competition accommodation but I’m not sure I would book this again.

This newly renovated hotel has an excellent town centre location close to the seafront and the extensive range of shops in the trading estate. It’s pretty close to the train station and although it doesn’t have attached parking there is plenty to find nearby. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and gave us some great tips about eating out in Llandudno. I can’t recommend it enough.
