Great hotel. The highlight was me being in the toilet while the rest of my family were asleep, and emerging into my room to find the TV had switched itself on! They were still all asleep. I switched it off and checked for ghosts, but couldn't find any. To this day I don't know how the TV managed to switch itself on. Definitely the highlight of a great stay.

Standard premier inn in terms of good room and convenient location. Service poor for evening meal, the lady that appeared to be in charge was very abrupt and not particularly helpful when we said we hadn't booked a table for dinner. After being made to feel like an inconvenience, and told that they would struggle to fit us in, we were seated in the restaurant which was not even half filled for the entirety of the time we were in there. The food was actually quite nice, but the initial interaction left us with a sour taste.

Premier Inn is always a safe bet, predictable and reliable.
This is a fairly new Premier Inn so has the latest fittings - USB ports on each side of the bed, mood lighting etc.
Restaurant was busy on Sunday morning but we were able to get a seat for breakfast.

Insider tip: rooms 10 and 12 on the ground floor are interconnected (with a locked door between them). Sound travels through the interconnecting doors, so if you are in one of those rooms you might hear TV or family noise, as we did.

Great location, quiet and central for exploring the area. room was lovely and very clean and the bed was so comfy! staff were all very friendly and helpful especially the lady working in the restaurant on breakfasts. Breakfast was really nice with an excellent choice of unlimited food. We had a great few nights stay here and will definitely come back!

Staff were very helpful and room up to 'Premier' standard. However, we booked the 'meal deal' and found several items, including the staple, steak, unavailable! The garlic bread with the lasagne was like shoe leather and the pizza was sweet tasting.... The restaurant was not available for early evening meals. We tried at 6:30 and it was closed. Breakfast was a different story and everything was good - as it should be at a 'Premier' Inn.

Didn't stay. Just came for the all you eat breakfast. Good value for money.

£9.50 with a great choice of cooked and continental style items. With tea, coffee and juice included.

I of course went for the cooked breakfast. I had the sausage, bacon, fried egg (scrambled available on request), hash browns and beans. Black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms, etc are also available, all cooked fresh. Everything tasted great.

Staff were all attentive and polite. Couldnt really ask for a better experience, tbh.

I will definitely be going back 👏

Great stay at this business travel oriented hotel in a remote part of the country. With a good quality on-site restaurant there is no need to heed out when on a short trip. Particularly good interactions with Kirstyn, Carolyn and Karen.

This hotel has improved massively since our last visit 4 months ago when the staff and food left a lot to be desired. Staff 100%, food much improved and the location excellent for access to port.
