Premier Inn Aberystwyth hotel

As expected for a premier inn, rooms were standard but comfortable. Superb location, with a nice car park to the rear (chargeable at £4 per 24 hours for guests) and the front door is right on the promenade. Breakfast was fabulous and staff super friendly. Very enjoyable break and will definitely be back again

Awful. Room smelt of cigarettes (reception staff said it was the second report of the day of the same issue). Could not open window, left the next day with our clothes stinking like an ahs tray. Contacted guest relations under their goodnight guarantee and they were not interested in honouring their guarantee. Quoted it was excluded as part of their T&C's. Checked goodnight guarantee T&C's which does list exclusions but this is not one of them so for them to use that as an excuse is a breach of their own T&C's. Hotel staff extremely rude, Hotel manager ended up putting the phone down on me whilst I was still trying to have a conversation about the complaint. Would proceed with caution!. Incidentally, I book many many Premier Inn rooms, its in fact my go to hotel in the UK, you know what you are getting, in fact I think they are good value for money. Well not this time, the room and certain members of staff are not living up to the expectations of the brand. Poor show all round. Will be writing to their exec team to share my feedback. Find another local hotel that actually appreciates the business.

Central position. Easy access to seafront. Clean, comfortable room. Good breakfast (though not all items available each day).
It would help those with mobility issues,like me, if there was a seat or 2 in the little rooms leading onto lifts. Somewhere to sit while waiting would have eased pain. Also. A handrail near slope outside and somewhere to sit while waiting for taxi would help. Its a car centric hotel, so a thought for those walking would be good!

The hotel was to the usual premier inn standards of cleanliness and facilities However, having stayed in many similar hotels, the noise level from adjoining bedroom and the one above was not good Also they ran out of bacon at breakfast. Surely knowing the number of guests staying this must be down to mis management Staff very friendly

Excellent location. Sea front. Can hear the sea at night. The room was clean and tidy. Has a working temperature thermostat. The bed is comfortable. Slept well. The restaurant is nice and the staff are very good

Excellent location and we had a sea view room. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful about parking. Breakfast was delicious and we will certainly be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Service pretty poor! Not the staffs fault I would say LACK of staff, training and supervision is the issue! Very friendly young girl greeted us into the restaurant for breakfast, then it goes downhill! First of all no Juice available had to ask for refill, then no mugs available for the coffee machine! Get to the breakfast bar, no bacon available and no scrambled egg. Also paid for a premier plus room and got in the shower to find the shampoo/body wash was completely empty!!!! Have stayed many many times with premier inn and is definitely one of my favourite hotel chains but silly mistakes and lack of staffing are starting to let it down.

Had a few stays here, good rooms and good views if you are lucky enough to get one on the front. But then unfortunately no window to open but it could be noisy. Restaurant within is ok for usual chain type food but better for unlimited breakfast. WiFi connection is poor.
