When we arrived we were greeted by a receptionist and it seemed alright, but on going to find our room in the maze of corridors we were transported back the what seemed to be late 1900s, it definitely hadn't seen any maintenence since then. The carpets and wallpaper were falling apart, the windows single paned and loose, cracks in the walls, bed sheets were torn, stained bathroom floor, broken cupboards and a fan that literally had no stand. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything in the rooms next door, the beds themselves were one step away from collapsing, and made constant noise.
Overall was not a good stay they need an overhaul, definitely not worth the the price asked for. Would not recommend.

This hotel is need of serious refurbishment. Reception area lovely but once you head to the rooms they are terrible. We were moved to another room as the first one the toilet didn’t work, then the second room had mattresses that were flat and and broken springs. We had to leave and find somewhere else to stay. Such a shame as it could be lovely.

One of the worst hotels on the beautiful island of Anglesey. I only stayed here due to my normal hotel that I use being fully booked. I wish I would of stayed else where. I would never stY at this place again. The staff did not seem interested of helpful. The room was dirty. Overall very poor

We booked a 70th party the buffet was hurrendous burnt pizza and didn't cater for gluten free even though we asked them to. The ladies toilets were disgusting blocked and no toilet roll! The prices of the drinks changed through the night and even charged £2.50 for a jug of tap water!! Bar staff need training prices are rediculous and even burst the birthday balloons when we said we would be there for them the next day as they were needed for the actual birthday. Avoid this place at all costs.

The hotel and staff are lovely, beautiful place.
But...
The property is starting to run down, needs the winter staff to do some painting inside and general DIY to halls ect instead of sitting around 🤷‍♂️🙂. 1970's wall paper showing in places.

The bed we had in the Aslan room had a big dip in the mattress.
The pillows had so much plastic on you just sweat all night.. there was even a folded up bed sheet in a pillow case to make the original pillow thicker.. and house keeping would of known this...

But... it is a nice place, I'd go again... I'd phone up and have a chat with them 1st about the the bed maybe.

Nice hotel next to the bridge. Good food and bar on site. Friendly staff. Rooms a bit dated but clean and warm. Would stay again

We had our Wedding here in June 2022 and could not fault anything. Meilir has been a great help over the last 3 years with all the changes, especially because of the pandemic. They were accommodating for our big day and were very helpful in the run up and on the day. Meilir help set up the rooms, food was very good, staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day. Great place to get the family together! Keep an eye on Facebook for their wedding deals as they are great value!
