The Tara Hotel

Perfect for me and my boys (2 four legged friends). We were treated like royalty. Hope to stay again if I can get a booking. It's so popular.

Really lovely hotel. The rooms were warm and cozy with thoughtful touches and the hosts are really nice and helpful. The breakfast was first class. I am going to stay here again.

Great stay, able to accommodate us at short notice, room clean and plenty of room, breky was filling and plenty to choose from and welcoming hosts

Excellent in every way. Nothing was too much trouble

Found the room very small with one bed under the eves you hit your head when you sat up. The furniture was so old. The bathroom was more like a broom cupboard. The glass shelf sloped as did the wash basin could not put toiletries on them. The shower was too small for my husband to shower in. The sanitiser in our room was half used (Covid)?? As was the shower gel & the soap. The carpets went back to the 1970 The stairs was so narrow. The breakfast cereal was already in our bowels when we sat down. The fresh fruit, yogurt, cold meats & cheese was also sat on our table with no covers over them before we arrived how long they sat there I don’t know as our breakfast was at 9am. Feel Covid rules wear not carried out. Would definitely not stay there again. This is advertised as a Hotel but it’s a very old guest house & not a good one.

Nice clean room with en-suite. Tea & coffee provided. Only problem was the stairs my wife struggled up the the four flights to the top floor.

This is such a fantastic place to stay..from the fantastic breakfast to a good clean room with spacious shower..thank you see you all in November regards tony and Carole

Clean and comfortable. Guests have their own entrance at the back. Good continental breakfast, with fried English breakfast if you want.
