We arrived to our booking having being messed up. So had to pay extra. The receptionist gave looks that could have killed a 50 ton elephant. She spoke broken English and was rude from the outset. I asked for the manager who was slightly more helpful. We were given a room with no bath (on purpose I would wager) it was basic and smelled of damp. When I explained I has spinal problems and would like a bath in my room i was fobbed off an told there was nothing he could do by tonight bit it would be sorted the next day. It was not. Breakfast was salty and over priced. Dinner was pub food quality at best. Over all I would say that the hotel was not worth the money and the service was abominable! I will not be staying again. Nor woukd I recomend anyone else to either.

I didn't stay there but needed a place to charge my phone and couldn't find anything open in the afternoon (not even a cafe!). I popped in and the fellow working there was very helpful, brewed me a cup of coffee and we had a chat. He told me how to walk to my destination and really helped. Definitely would stay there if I ever go again, the kind of friendly people you want working at a hotel!

it was good value for money-everyone was friendly..i didn't have breakfast-but it looked like they were nicely set up for it. i liked my room it was big & full of light. the bedding was lovely-excellent quality & soft. i would stay here again when i holiday in wales-very handy for the places i wanted to visit.

lovely budget accommodation we enjoyed our weekend stay there. the staff were lovely and welcoming and the food was nice, both the breakfast and the bar meals. the decor is a little dated but itu2019s clean and great value for money. weu2019d definitely stay again if we were in the area. .

amazing people, the hotel is super clean and we had towels changed every single day! the location is just in front of the station. there take all the covid measures, absolutely honourable place to stay. i highly recommend it! 5stars!

the advertiing for the hotel should be more open to attract more customers. food was amazing. this is a little gem of a hotel given its unsuspecting surroundings. excellent staff and a good stay all round.
