Travelodge Llanelli Central

I have stayed here a few nights now, less Hassle than finding your way home after a night of alcohol. Staff are amazing always friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable. You are centrally located, so even tho there is no bar or restaurant in the hotel there are plenty surrounding it. Just eat and Uber eat delivery available too. Double rooms seem to only have a shower, but after viewing a Family room, I noticed they have baths also. Parking between 8am and 6pm is 2.20 per 4 hours but between 6pm and 8pm it's free. Definitely value for money in my opinion. Have also found out, if you purchase a ticket after 6pm it carries over to the morning, so you don't need to get up early to buy a ticket. Amazing 😁

We stayed at a top floor there was no view from the room which is fine. But the room was not well ventilated so had to leave window open and the sound of the generator on the roof kept me awake thus only 3 stars.

Room and little dirty where bottle opener is but other than that ok, great location. Here for mighty hike, only 35 mins from start....not too bad, good price too

Not the first time I’ve stayed and it’s become a common occurrence for the “housekeeping” to knock and then even when we respond, to try and let himself into the room because people have in the past “left their keys”. Has left my partner very uncomfortable on many accounts and has had her hiding when it happens. As someone who’s worked in hotels you just don’t do this, you just don’t let yourself in someone’s room even after a verbal response after your knock has left me annoyed now on behalf of my partner.

We have been going to the travelodge in Llanelli central for the last 5 years as we visit family there at least once a year.

The good part is that it’s central and you tend to have everything you need at walking distance.

The bad part is that for the last 5 years the hotel it’s gone from good to bad to currently (July 2022 visit) to really really poor, the rooms are outdated, the smell of the hotel is horrible, the housekeeping is non existent and at very very poor level, there’s dust, pet hair and human hair all over the floor, the cleaning of the rooms I can say my 5 year would do a better job… it’s just bad and the prices have sky rocketed so it’s completely not worth the price and a completely waste of money, you would probably have a better and cleaner night sleep in your car then this hotel.

After 5+ years we will be looking to stay somewhere else now.

In all my years of travelling I have stayed in good and bad places, this is right down at the bottom end of those. Unless you’re close to the reception don’t bother buying the internet upgrade. The room smells weirdly of marzipan. On this stint I’ve been on the road for three days now (I live in hotels these days) and honestly I’d rather have slept in the van tonight. I’m booked in here again tomorrow but rather than stay here tomorrow I’ll do my 12-13 hour work day and I’ll drive the five hours it’ll take me to get home than stay in this place. If I’m booked in here again I just won’t even bother..

Only down side is the parking it's £3.00 for 4hr I was there for 3 days visiting. In they don't restock your tea and coffee on a daily basis

Staff were friendly and helpful however the mattress was extremely uncomfortable and hard, and is was very noisy. If you want a quiet night away I wouldn’t recommend this hotel
