Had a lovely stay here last week. Barmouth is a very special place for me and my mum, and we try to visit at least once a year. This hotel was the perfect stay for our trip this year. We stayed in a twin room which was done out so nicely. Unbelievable view towards the bridge and across the estuary! Beds were comfy and water pressure in the shower was great despite us being on the top floor. As in any hotel, we could hear people in the rooms around us, so I'd bring ear plugs if you're sound sensitive at night. The breakfast spread was incredible! Pastries and tropcal fruit and cereal are laid out for you. And the hot food options are equally impressive. They have veggie and vegan options, and when it arrives it really is restaurant quality. All the staff are really friendly and are there to make your stay the best it can be. Can't recommend enough.

Lovely place to stay in Barmouth, located just at the start of the town on a hill overlooking the harbour and start of the estuary. Fantastic rooms, very clean and modern with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is included with lots of choice - continental and hot or both!! Free parking as well. Serves dinner in the evening and has a nice bar/social area and beer garden to relax in and enjoy the great views.

Outstanding hotel, fantastic location with fabulous views over Barmouth. Service is friendly and relaxed, all staff we meet were lovely. Room was tastefully decorated with wonderfully comfortable beds and powerful hot shower. Cocktails were delicious and made well. We ate dinner one night and it was delicious, freshly prepared. Breakfast was a wide choice and freshly cooked to order. Throughly recommend

I was there for 2 nights and can absolutely recommend this hotel. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. There is a nice garden around the hotel, where children could play. We had a good breakfast and also the dinner was worth it.
Be prepared to carry your luggages up the stairs. Not an issue for me, could be a trouble for someone with a big suitcase.

Great hotel after expecting low quality.The family rooms are surprisingly very modernised especially the extremely modern bathrooms with a 5 star shower and overall atmosphere. The place is also tranquil apart from a few children running around making noise. The sea views via the bench are also stunning giving Italian vibes. The room contain a king sized and sofa bed. Unfortunately, the mattress of the sofa bed is a little thin resulting in an uncomfortable sleep. Otherwise, the rooms cannot be faulted with brilliant, themed, clean decor. The staff are brilliant here extremely kind and the food is top notch. However, the place looks a little shabby in place from dusty and dilapidated bin areas and car park and overgrown and dying bushes. This hotel is also not amazingly professional, with food simply set on mere tables rather than juice/cereal dispensers or ice filters etc. In general there just could be many subtle improvements to boost this place to a 4 star. The lobby is also not very classy or professional unlike other higher grade hotels. The main beach area has a few chavs and is relatively busy. Otherwise it’s a great little hotel, but could do with many subtle improvements to really boost this place to a 4 star hotel and make it more professional and appealing. Highly recommended.

Excellent stay here, the staff were brilliant really happy and helpful. The food was gorgeous and the whole place was really clean. We stayed in room 10, it had a great view and the standard of the room was great. Was really sad to leave, we will be back.

Stayed here with my 9month baby partner and big dog for 3 nights. We would definitely recommend and will be returning. What a beautiful hotel, the staff are so lovely and accommodating . It was out first little getaway as a family. It was perfect.. 5/10 min walk from town.... Great spot.

We had a 7 night stay as a base to explore Snowdonia. The staff were exceptional and clearly aiming to provide an excellent service. The rooms were well presented, although we did find the large bed not as comfortable as we would like. Evening meals were some of the best we had in Barmouth but the breakfast simply outstanding.
