They where short staffed and there was no beer on as they had a large party of people at the weekend and they ran out the soup was off the menu as they had ran out at lunch time. The room was lovely but there where clumps of dog hair's on the carpet as they do let pets stay. The lift is very small and had no light in it so a bit daunting for some.

No light on the elevator, it was like a darkroom. booked a double room (25) with bathtub Ann “Wi-Fi” which was nonexistent almost In the entire hotel even less in the room. The shower was broken and hold to a washer. Village was nice but dead after 8pm so the closest place to have some food or buy anything is 7.5miles away.

Breakfast was super poor and almost nothing to eat.

Small village with limited accommodation options. This hotel has historical links to Beddgelert so its oldness is fitting. Hotel here since 18th century. Bit dark and light in lift not working but this may have been temporary.

Did not stay here only dined...Pretty much the worst dining experience we have ever had....Food was mediocre...value for money...poor, the staff were inexperienced and not engaging...had to wait over 45 minutes for two straight forward easy meals and they weren't even busy. For starters we ordered some olives to share. When they turned up it looked like they had been prepared by a 5 year old...very poor presentation so we sent them back...Their second attempt wasn't much better !! Having driven about 240 miles to get to bedgellert we were tired and hungry. Hoping for a lovely relaxing experience we were bitterly disappointed...Would recommend eating anywhere else in the village but here.

Really good service from Josh (the manager) and the team. We had an issue with the previous manager who failed to register our booking on the system. Once we arrived after a 4.5 hour drive we were worried that this would mean we'd have nowhere to stay. But Josh worked tirelessly to make sure there was a room available and found one despite being fully booked.

The stay was then fantastic. Brilliant views and brilliant access to mount snowdon. Would definitely stay again.

The food is awful and none of it is fresh. You’re paying expensive restaurant prices for insipid microwave meals and Heinz tins for ‘soup of the day’.

With few exceptions, the staff are unwelcoming and bizarre - they will forget your order, dismiss questions about dietary requirements, and generally instil a sense of unease.

The rooms and beds are fine, but are incredibly overpriced for what they are.

Breakfast was this place’s one redeeming feature, in that the waiter was nice and the food was alright.

Pretty challenging. The service, while well meaning, was extremely lack lustre. We stayed and dined at the hotel. Both were largely unpleasant with little redeeming features. The rooms are dated, the food is straight out of a microwave and worst of all you pay through the teeth for it. Please just stay elsewhere in the village.

Booked for this weekend, 30th Dec-1st Jan back in February. Found out by chance last Friday, 23rd of December that the hotel is closed. The manager offered no apology or explanation in the initial response given that the booking was made 10 months ago this was totally unacceptable. Found email address on the website and contacted them. The manager informed me that the hotel had been closed since October due to refurbishment but didn’t think to contact us to give us the option of booking somewhere else. Surprisingly 1 week before we were due to stay there, everywhere else is fully booked. Our New Year weekend is ruined. Will not be booking there again. Manager has no customer service skills whatsoever and doesn’t seem to care about the upset she has caused. Only put 1 star as it wouldn’t let me not choice one.
