We asked for a room with a view and we got the best view from our first floor bay window. We got so much more, our room was huge and our bathroom suite was spacious. Coming back from a delicious breakfast and our room was spotless after Sam and Alma had serviced to a high standard. Staff were warm and friendly wherever we were. Dining on the Terrace is a premium which we had every meal bar one. Great choice of food. We would definitely recommend.

We booked this last minute and had 2 rooms for £236. Our room was massive with a big double bed, wardrobe etc. TV was across the room and small but who cares. The bathroom was also enormous with a shower over the bath.. mirror at the side as you showered a bit odd but maybe some people get a kick out of using this. Plenty of toiletries (the white company) and tea and coffee galore along with bottle water. My son is 11 and said the room was old fashioned and it does have that 50s feel about but is by no means run down. I have never stayed in a room as clean as this so the cleaners deserve a pay rise for sure as does the lovely lady in reception who booked us in and was very helpful. Breakfast was AMAZING. Lots of choice along with quality products. To top it off I opened the curtains in the morning to loom at a view of the beach and sea. Wow. 4 star that should undoubtedly be 5.

Had a lovely time, me and my partner stayed here as part of our wedding celebration, and had our drinks reception and wedding breakfast here, service from staff was absolutely superb! Food absolutely delicious with every single guest complimenting how good the food was. Only minor criticism I personally would have are nit pics, floor and walls especially at the leisure centre could do with a bit of TLC but this definitely doesn't take away from the fabulous service and overall experience. Will definitely stay again when we get the opportunity.

Had an excellent stay. The staff throughout are superb - check-in, waiting staff, barmen and gym. The car park is tight during peak seasons - however, street parking is good and free through the night. Hotel is in a great town, in a lovely and beautiful part of the UK.

We had a disabled room that was plenty big enough for my wheelchair. The bathroom was a great size, a wet room with bath but strangely didn't include a bath/shower stool. We managed as I'm able to mobilize for short periods, but if the guest is completely immobile this would not work. I don't know if the hotel could supply a shower stool as I didn't inquire.
The rooms don't come with a fridge as standard, they do however have a small fridge on request, which was quickly supplied for my medication. I expect fridges as standard in rooms these days so didn't arrange for a fridge in advance, I would suggest you confirm the availability before booking if a fridge is necessary for your medication.
Vegan/vegetarian breakfasts are available on request, you get one vegan sausage and one hash brown and are invited to help yourself to the buffet for anything else. The sausage was not the meat alternatives you usually get, but more like stuffing, not great when i consider how much the qualify of vegan/vegetarian options has improved.
The staff were all incredibly welcoming and helpful, they were happy to answer any questions and offered plenty of information about the area. The location of the hotel was great, it sits on the sea front, close to the town center and within easy walking distance of the pier.
I am happy to recommend this hotel. The area is beautiful, full of Victorian architecture and the North Wales coast is definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful hotel in the promenade. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Swimming pool, gym plus beauty therapy including massage. Bedrooms are very comfortable, one word of caution if you are taller then 6 ft then you'll be just about able to fit under the shower in the bath. Staff all very friendly. World definitely go back

Friendly and helpful staff in all areas of the hotel.
Room was clean and well maintained. Bed linen and towels good quality .

The pool was adequate, but I was not comfortable walking to and from the pool in a robe.

The gym area was small , cluttered and uninviting, however the staff were attentive and pleasant.

Bar staff and breakfast team were exceptional as was the 'dish of the day' on the two nights we stayed..
