Great pub with excellent food, a Sunday lunch must

Food was amazing so much flavour. Staff were friendly and polite made you feel welcome and they would do anything to make ur stay welcome

Great food and a great menu to choose from, staff are excellent and ready to help with anything. Drinks are a decent price too and a cracking pint of Guinness

I went as a couple on a Sunday friendly staff, no menu choice. Single dish only roast. No possibility to book only by phone or in person. I recommend perfecting the management of the venue. It's a shame to manage with so much competition around and so much choice.

Been going here for years. Wasn't anything special. It has however improved quite a bit recently. The new owner has spent some money on it, improving the toilets, tidying it up and increasing the amount of seating.

I've not had food there but heard its pretty good. They have also improved the range on tap to include, Birra Moretti and £3.60 as well as Thatchers Gold and Thatchers Haze.

The beer garden has also had money spent on it, with more seating and little alcoves built into the side of the wall for melore privacy etc.
