Our daughter and new son-in-law held their wedding reception here, an impressive wedding venue, with Mumbles sea front just a short stroll from the hotel, staff worked really hard to deliver a seamless wedding banquet and food was of exceptionally high standard with outstanding presentation. We made beautiful memories here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to book their wedding, its a hidden gem of a place, thank you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable and their wedding day extra special

Wedding Day review!!

Thank you so much to Norton House. Every single member of staff that we saw, spoke to or was served by was incredible!! Our wedding breakfast servers in particular were so welcoming and a delight from start to finish.

Every single guest, has sent their compliments to the venue, and the food itself was outstanding!

Special mention to Ruth and Alan - Ruth had us hooked on the venue and its unique charm from the first time we met her and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. She nailed every request. Alan (owner) - host skills are top tier and I don't think they could be beaten by anyone, anywhere!

During our Day, the weather held off for the most part. However, the heavens opened and a huge thunderstorm occurred while all our guests were stood under shelter in the garden. Myself and my now husband were safely inside. The next thing we see, is the owner Alan, along with several members of staff, escorting guests in 1s and 2s from the shelter to the main house under umbrellas. They, themselves were absolutely soaked! Our guests were completely dry. That is service beyond anyone's expectation! It also made for some Incredibly hilarious wedding pictures!

We received the most fantastic service from Norton House. They hosted a funeral tea for my dad. The venue was beautiful, the food excellent and the service outstanding yet unobtrusive. I was incredibly impressed and grateful to everyone concerned.

We had our wedding reception in Norton House on 10/09/22. We had the perfect day! The staff were great and owner Alan made sure the whole day ran smoothly whilst being so warm and welcoming. Ruth and Hannah were so helpful through the whole planning of the day and made the experience so easy and enjoyable. The food was beautiful and the venue was perfect for an intimate reception of 58 people. The guests were full of praise for the food and the lovely venue. We had photos on mumbles pier which meant we had a great location for photos without travelling far and missing part of the day. Highly recommend Norton House as a wedding venue

Stayed overnight. Room comfortable and liked opportunity to sit outside. Good car parking, location to main attractions a comfortable walk, staff helpful. Minor gripes, couldn't close window over external door, needed to lock same door to remain shut, and the shower a challenge to operate and balance temperature. Despite this, would happily stay again.

Just editing my review about Sunday lunch. Just spoke to manager and told her of my complaint and she was very understanding on the phone and very nice. The manager credited back my bill onto my account with full apologies. Can't fault that thank you very much

Had Xmas lunch with friends. The service was excellent friendly and efficient. The food was hot generous portions and vv tasty. It was great to be offered extra portions of vegetables and gravy. Gorgeous coffee and mince pies. Would highly recommend.

Stayed for 2 night whilst in the area and won’t be returning. Had to ring a bell several times before anyone came to reception so we could check in. The room itself was a lot smaller than what the pictures on the booking showed. The bathroom shower had brown circles in it which should not of been left there. The shower was quite cold and the head would come off when you put it on. We slept awful both nights as the boiler would come on every half an hour and make a loud buzzing noise, you could also hear other guests coughing, flushing their toilets, watching their tvs, closing their doors and speaking so loudly! It could all be heard from our room and both nights we were constantly being woken up by several noises. Breakfast was a continental buffet with a good selection. Hot breakfast options were fine also. Overall, we did not enjoy the experience and would not return. We paid £142 for the room and have had better experiences in a £35 premier inn. Extremely disappointed and tired for the drive home. We expected better and won’t be returning.
