Two Rivers Chepstow by Marston's Inns

Really friendly staff and excellent food! Came In for Sunday lunch which was fantastic, the meat was lovely and tender and all veg was really tasty. Dee the manager on shift was friendly and welcoming showing us to our table. We were served really quickly followed by drinks and food arriving soon after. Pudding was delicious.

Rooms were clean and in the heatwave, cooled by air-con. Nice touch to have a pack of biscuits, replaced daily. Very comfy bed, slept well.
The breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and cooked to order.
We also had lunch and an evening meal, good value with the 20% discount. The food was very nice and served hot.
All staff were very polite and friendly. A special mention to the blonde lady working the bar on Wednesday, even with a queue waiting and people ordering cocktails, she kept her cool and served with a smile !!

This is the first time we have stayed at The Two Rivers hotel since the refurbishment and we were very pleasantly surprised by all the improvements. The bedroom and bathroom were both very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The air conditioning worked perfectly which was of huge importance during the recent heat wave.
The improvements were clear not just in the hotel rooms but in the restaurant and bar area too. The menu is now interesting and varied, the food is prepared to a high quality and the service was good too. In fact, we were made to feel welcome by every member of staff that we met during our two day stay.

Found the Two Rivers Hotel a very welcoming place. Staff very friendly. We have stayed here before and can say that a number of improvements have been made. Hotel rooms have been refurbished to a high standard. Bed was nice and comfortable in the room we were allocated. Although there was no actual wardrobe, the open wardrobe rack had plenty of space for laying clothes on and hanging up clothes on hooks or on the hangers. A good idea because it's probably designed so you don't leave anything behind. The open plan bedside cupboards have been designed for the same reason.The pub has also had a makeover, and someone has taken a lot of trouble over the design, giving it a more welcoming feeling. In addition, better use has been made of the outside are, better laid out and some of it under cover. On the whole, well thought out.

Pleasant ambience , warm and welcoming. Staff were very friendly ,polite and helpful. We had steaks ,and they were perfection! Compliments to the chef. The meal was delicious in all respects . As we are locals it's lovely to see The Two Rivers back to quality food and service

An excellent ant convenient hotel stay. First class room and a welcoming bar and restaurant. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and the checkout procedure fast and efficient. The whole experience could not be faulted. I will be booking again.

A superb little stopover that's on the edge of Chepstow and Bulwark. It's a short walk into town, which is am incline on the way there... but quite steep on the way back.
The accommodation is of a great standard and the rooms are clean and well kept. In the bar the choice of drinks is extensive, and the price is moderate.
The food served here has been massively improved, though it is at a slight increment in price... but you get what you pay for. The quality and food portions are vastly improved. I like this place and all that it offers.

I went for a meal at the two river’s restaurant/pub.
The service was excellent; really attentive, very friendly and efficient with reasonable food wait times.
The food was delicious, good potions and average-reasonable prices. Nice selection on menu.
The decor and cleanliness was on point.
I was really impressed and would definitely recommend.
