This hotel has had some awful reviews and we can honestly say.......... we did not encounter any of the problems that some had to put up with fortunately, let's hope they have been ironed out....don't get me wrong, the building needs renovating and redecorating, that being said, it was clean and tidy and the young, polite and helpful staff put in a massive effort to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast was self service and very good, with plenty of choice. We appreciate everyone in hospitality has had a rough couple of years, let's hope it keeps getting better. Big shout out to the kitchen staff, we'll done 👍👍👍

Quite honestly, dont listen to the bad reviews here, i have stayed at a few hotels here in Aberystwyth, and this was definitely one of the nicer ones! The staff were lovely, and check in was so easy, and the room was really nice, clean sheets and room, Tv, tea qnd coffee, honestly nothing to complain about!! Breakfast was absolutely amazing, the food was cooked brilliantly and the people serving were polite and helpful! Honestly the only thing id rate down on is the accessibility, as far as i can tell there is no wheelchair available entrance, the lift is not working and it is very far down the beachfront if you struggle with walking like myself. Other than that lovely hotel with an amazing view!!!

Pro:
location
Con:
Rooms
View (dirty patio)
Parking (public parking on crowded promenade)
Showers incl no warm water in the morning
Building (looks nothing like on the pictures, doors do not close proper, stairs are crooked)
Main window was broken
Water pressure non existing

Would be OK for 30 pounds, 140 is way too overpriced and feels like a rip off.
I have no idea who rates this hotel as lovely, maybe friends or locals.

Cheap and cheerful. I have no complaints at all. The staff were very helpful. It's got a very quiet, but easy to find, location.

All round no stress and if you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy the sea views, it's an inexpensive way to stay in a great town.

Decent cheap hotel in an excellent location right on the beach. Rooms are very basic but comfy. Friendly staff and a decent price.

Fantastic views. Feeling of the sea constantly attacking the land - out of this world. And this is it, when it goes to positives. Mold in the rooms. Lift existent, but extremely small and working at random hours. I had to move all the luggage from the top floor to the ground floor via tricky staircase. Staff ok. Beautiful smile, but not too organised place in general. 2 small toilet rolls for 3 nights for a family. Almost no soap. Had to go half a mile to get the breakfast paid for, as cook was unwell (imagine that excuse in Premier Inn - similiar price). Would be good for 30-60 not 120.
