Four of us spent a night here while walking a section of Offa’s Dyke and couldn’t have been happier with our stay.
Sheila picked us up in Montgomery and took us to her place. After we cleaned up she served us a hearty delicious meal and had wine and beer to choose from.
The rooms were clean quiet and well appointed.
I was suffering from a cold and Sheila went out of her way to help me feel more comfortable.
Not up to walking the next day I rode with Sheila’s husband Rob while he transported our luggage. I realized I had forgotten my camera and Rob called Sheila and assured me they would get it to me. Later that day Sheila made an extra trip to bring the camera to me! Thank you both!
These are wonderful people who genuinely care about making your stay comfortable.

Highly Recommended!!

If you're walking Offa's Dyke Path between Knighton and Brompton Crossroads, be sure to stay here. Great value. Sheila is the friendliest hostess. A cup of hot tea awaits at the end of a long day's walk. Her meals are superb. You'll tackle the next day's walk, well rested and nourished.

Had a wonderful, comfortable and welcoming stay with Sheila- nothing was too much trouble even catering for my vegetarian needs. A highlight of my hike along Offas Dyke, highly recommended

A warm and friendly welcome after a long day's walk on the hardest section of the 177 mile Offa's Dyke path. Spacious, comfortable room, delicious dinner and breakfast. Lovely enjoyable stay.

Stayed at 'Shirley Heights' on the eighth day of my 'Offas Dyke' trail hike. This fabulous accommodation is about a half mile from the trail in a very quiet country location. Sheila is the perfect host providing exquisite accommodation, a beautiful evening meal, an early breakfast and packed lunch, another fabulous stopover on this fantastic trail. Can highly recommend.

Very welcoming host on private property. Caters for Offa's Dyke walkers in tents or in B&B. Pre-booking required. Choice of having home cooked eve meal. Ours was very good and two courses. Drinks other than tea/coffee may be extra. Recommend. WiFi did not work for me but is available. Device charging may be possible. Buildings need finishing. Good shower.
