Ordered my food everything was perfect as standard except for my coconut rice.
I usually order the same meal everytime but the recipe has been changed, it now has onions in it and tasted very bland and burnt. I rang and asked for a fresh set without and when it came it looked and tasted the same minus onions but did not taste at all like coconut. Usually a very happy customer but not this time! My whole meal was ruined after two attempts to make it right

Well, we'll certainly be going here again. A refreshing surprise. A fantastic and carefully created blend of herbs and spices, each easily identifiable. It's difficult to find a good restaurant and this one has been uncovered for many a future reference. A traditional kitchen it is indeed.

We placed a order costing over 50 pounds and it took over an hour and a half to to be delivered ! And when it finally arrived it was a mess it looked like it had been thrown up a wall and scraped into a bag. When we phoned up to complain nothing was really done to help. They had the food remade for us, but we then had to collect the food from them ! Costing me in fuel so worse off really and when I arrived they were nothing but rude speaking in their own language. Poor service and i would advise anyone to stay well away.

Ikbals is one of the most friendly restaurants I have ever been too. What a lovely & genuine restaurant. Any request & Ikbal will sort it. Fantastic place & highly recommended for authentic Indian cuisine. Very worth a visit for an authentic Indian experience. Keep up your good work Ikbal

Excellent food but not keen on the urchins at front of house. Children should never be at the helm of an eat in establishment. We gave a way over the average tip for our food because it was very good but was met with no acknowledgement from the infants that took our payment. They are indicative of being young and English and not of anything else, which is an unfortunate malaise of our society. Next time i will just order a takeaway so as not to deal with that, because the food was great.

First of all the food is great, but as a person who works in front of house I cant help but notice how unprofessional the staff are, when serving food they used their bare hands to carry my plate, they touched their face/hair before handing me my food. Not only is this cross contamination it is also bad hygiene, there was flies everywhere. Needs serious improvement

Food great! however the restaurant and service wasn't. In going in there was a towel on the floor by the step to mop up wet shoes! Can they really not afford a proper mat! Awful first impression! Cold restaurant no frills, no music, lads in hooded anoraks all night spending more time on their phones than serving! It's effectively a takeaway with some tables in! Wouldn't recommend for dining.
