Have used this jewellers twice now & found their repair work to be very good, Paul is always available for advice he will come to your home to collect and to set up your clock. He supplies a first class service, in my book Paul & his brother are the best in the clock business. I will always use them.

This is a wonderful family run business that I have used for alterations and repairs during the last couple of years. Everyone is helpful and attentive and I have always been very pleased with the repairs or aesthetic changes. The staff knowledge base is extensive and highly professional, I trust them implicitly and would go nowhere else.

Walsh Brothers is an excellent jewellers. They have a wide range of new and second hand items, some interestingly unusual. A lovely selection of diamond rings, and their own range of excellent watches. Definitely worth a visit!

I have a vintage watch that I have owned for many years.Needless to say it's needed a little TLC on occassions and i've never been disappointed with the service that I have received from this establishment.Their pricing is also extremely fair.

My mantle clock had stopped and during a telphone I was advised by the lady that if it has two winding holes their charge would be £125 per hole. The clock had two winding holes. I took the clock into the shop and was advised that as they were very busy and indicating an array of clocks on a shelf said it would be available in about three months time and they would ring me when ready and I was not to ring them. I was given a receipt. Some three months later I had a telephone call to say it was available for collection. On handing over my receipt she indicated to an assistant the clock which was on the floor and asked for it to be put on the counter. It was dusty and grubby looking, not looking the prestrine and treasured dining room clock I had handed over. I was given a receipt for my card payment. But nothing to say what work had been carried out or what parts had been fitted. For £250 I expected better. Had they done anything? No signs of professionalism at all!

Been going to Walsh Brothers for over 20 years but will no longer be.
Don’t know what’s happened but the service is now poor.
Had an item there for cleaning and another for repair. The lady looked at item that needed repairing (cracked emerald in a ring) and without using any tools said ‘sorry what am I looking at am a missing something’.
Realise now I should have gone elsewhere.
Was told a few days wait for item to be cleaned and a 2-3 week wait for the other to be repaired. They said they’d contact me when both items were ready.
I waited 4 weeks and hadn’t heard anything. I phoned, spoke to a lady and asked if my items were ready and was told that they were.
I went to collect them and was told by a gentlemen that the item for repair wasn’t ready. He roughly apologised but emphasised that they actually hadn’t contacted me implying that the lady wasn’t at fault but I was as I hadn’t waited for them to contact me. Silly me eh! Was told that it should be repaired in about another 10 days.
I phoned 11 days later risking the issue being my fault and was told they were no nearer to repairing ring.
This all took over 5 weeks!
They said they were having problems and couldn’t guarantee when they could get the item repaired.
They gave me the ring back still NOT repaired.
The last person I spoke to was Natasha whose customer care was a little more closer to what I was expecting.
