Disappointed. Spoke with the manger at length regarding a wedding ring to be built. She really knew her stuff. Left my details to be given a quote later that day. Nothing. No response. Telephones the following day to chase it up. Nobody knows anything and the manager is off. I’ve now ordered a similar ring from polka in Exeter who were amazing. The ring was more original and better value.

Had my engagement ring from here in December, 2 weeks later the stone fell out so I went in the shop in Exeter and got a brand new replacement as well as having to pay £5 for delivery. New ring arrived and 2 months later the stone fell out again. I go into the shop and say I want a completely new ring which they order for me from another store, 2 weeks later this ring has still not arrived nor did I have any contact from them with an update. I went looking elsewhere and found what I was looking for at H Samuals. I go in to return my second replacement for a full refund and stated I won’t be using them anymore, I got no apology and the staff were very blunt. Sam who I dealt with previously was the only one that apologised and seemed to have experience in customer service. I will inform all of my friends, family and work colleagues NOT TO GO HERE! I highly recommend H Samual

I bought my engagement and wedding ring from the Exeter store. The deputy I believe is called Sam, was attentive, polite and approachable. However, the store manager who served me once out of the 3 times, was difficult and rude. Absolutely ruin my experience with the company. I will never shop there again. He had appalling customer service and created an unnecessary atmosphere. Extremely childish and disrespectful

The Ernest Jones store in Exeter is great at customer service, and I'd like to mention Joanna in particular. Joanna sourced the watch I wanted from another store when it wasn't in stock locally. The store then switched the band to the one I wanted. A few weeks later she hunted down the right size of the ring I was interested in when the first two didn't fit, because my finger and that particular ring are both in-between sizes. She communicated with me throughout so I always knew what was happening. I have the impression that this store won't let anything stop them giving a customer the right result. Thank you!

I found the staff extremely rude.
I went in and asked if they had a silver anklet which I wanted to buy as a gift. They laughed at me said no and said I "could find one down the beach" in a very mocking tone.
I then went to F. HINDS a little while down the road where they were appalled by the behaviour I experienced. I bought a wonderful anklet from them instead!
Will never go back to Ernest Jones and I warn others of my experience.

Great Service. Left my wife's watch with them to have the battery changed with the intention of going back there from Braunton to collect. Couldn't undertake the journey, explained our position to the staff here and they immediately offered to post it out to us and they did at no extra cost. we were very relieved.
