It's quite hard to explain or get across how good a kennels and cattery this is. You get that feeling on entering , immaculately kept with the office cattery and grooming shop clearly marked. Our 8 month old dog Briar had never been separated from us for more than 3 hours, but the owner was very driendly and took time to let the dog get to know him before leading us to Briars kennel. On picking him up he was just sat quietly but clearly glad to see us, none the worse for wear but very tired. Can't rate this business high enough.

Terrible cattery, pens are far too close and whilst they are clean the welfare of the cats are not put first, my cat did not eat whilst there (not even a day before I moved her), the staff seemed to think that she had been fine. The staff are polite but they were lacking knowledge on cat welfare, small pens far too close together and didn’t ask for my cats vaccination record either.

Our cat William was here this week and despite him being fussy about food the staff did their very best withhi., he is a bit of a scared eye cat and hid a lot but they still tried.Will use again x

Wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff. Had to put our dog Rodney in for an extended stay due to health reasons. Super happy with the care he has received and the regular facebook updates a great help. Would recommend Barton Dene to anyone.

Our Dog came away wet smelly and cold. Her basket was soaking wet and smelt of strong urine. I would never return. It is terrible!

My pup Winston has separation anxiety so I was very nervous about having to leave him the staff were so kind and friendly, when I picked him up I could tell he was happy and had been looked after ,immaculately clean and all you see is happy dogs would recommend to anyone

I was so nervous about leaving my dog here for 2 nights as he has never been into a kennels before. He was absolutely fine! Rang for an update to see how he was and they were very reassuring. The only thing is - book in for a groom before leaving. A bit smelly to say the least! Very reasonably priced. Had heat lamps on during the winter.
