Meresands Kennels & Cattery

Amazing kennels I wouldn't leave my dogs anywhere else! I have three dogs and used to worry about leaving them as my girl is very nervous of strangers and can be difficult to handle, but the staff are lovely and brought her out of her shell! I was baffled at how much she trusted the girls.. Kisses all round! My pooches are always happy when I collect them, smelling fresh and clean. 100% recommend this kennels!

I've never really been a fan of leaving my dog in kennels as normally I'd leave Sebastian with a member of my family but unfortunately nobody was available to look after him and Meresands came highly recommended from a trusted friend. First of all I'd like to say the girls who work there are on top of their game and you can see they genuinely love what they do and are passionate about ensuring the animals are kept as happy as possible until their owners collect them. I was invited to a good look around when i first arrived to get a vibe of it and after speaking with afew of the staff members my nerves were calmed.

Upon collecting Sebastian it was hassle free and he was overjoyed to be reunited with me but then before i put him in the car he ran back to some of the staff hinting he didn't want to leave! How charming i thought!!

100% would recommend this place to leave your animals for afew days or even longer trips away. Only thing i will say is based on my experience, be warned.. your pooch may decide it loves the girls more than it does you! :)

An absolutely fantastic kennels!
The girls are always happy and helpful and always pleased to see my dogs.
Their care is unconditional and tend to my dogs individual needs, I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.

I have used these kennels for 4 years! Roxie is a 3 year old staffie and Archie is a 2 year old american bulldog. They are my babies and am very protective of them. When people say "oh i couldnt put mine in kennels" i often say how well looked after my 2 are ALWAYS. Bridget and the crew are so lovely and always honest when I ring up. Archie takes a while to adjust and they are caring and patient with him...even take on extra walks to gain his confidence, although he's a big lad he's a big softie. He is also on daily medication and they administer that also. They never smell when I collect them as they are bathed before you arrive. They have also had their nails cut and that's a battle for me to do. If you are going away and thinking of using kennels I highly recommend meresands I wouldn't use anywhere else.

Couldnt recommend this place enough!!! Fantastic staff and amazing grounds. Very professional yet friendly at the same time. Price for kennel stay is great. We booked our 1 year old labrador in for a 12 day training camp via mydogtrainer website at which Meresands was our local kennel for his stay with a personal trainer visited each day. Meresands kennels is great and will definately use again

My dogs go into the kennels and straight onto their beds, willingly. When picking my dogs up they are happy, clean and look as if they have enjoyed their stay. The kennels themselves are clean. The staff are friendly. Would recommend.

Always fantastic. Take such good care with all our dogs over the years. Fab staff. I never have any concerns leaving my dogs here. Thank you so much.
