Coastal Kitchens Ltd

We went to Andrew Collins back in 2014 for a full kitchen refit from ceiling to floor. Based on my own research and Andrew's recommendations we chose to use Neff units for the main appliances, double oven, induction hob, dishwasher and built in microwave. We retained out Miele washing machine for obvious reasons.
We we really happy with the overall kitchen plan which was both more practical than other schemes but we felt a far more innovative use of the kitchen space. And so we gave the green light to proceed.
Four years later we needed to carry out some upgrades as follows:

Replace Hotpoint cooker hood which had broken down for the second time. This time round we chose a basic but efficient Neff hood should have spent the extra in the first place. Lesson learned
Replace induction hob – wife accidentally damaged glass a while ago and whilst this didn’t affect the functional performance of the hob, it wasn’t pretty.
Replace a Brita filter tap which was costing us £100 a year in filter cartridges. Simply not worth retaining and was dripping sporadically so Franke item with pull out spout chosen.
Andrew’s prices were all competitive so got on with ordering all the material. One week later Paul Ritter, the fitter who did the original kitchen arrived to do the work. All completed in one day. All done to perfection. Paul even replaced a scruffy push button switch on the microwave with a new one I’d got Neff to supply FOC. So the microwave now looks good as new again, Result.

So in praise of Andrew Collins Kitchen Design I would remark that we loved the new kitchen back in 2014. Still love it now. The recent work just updates and improves on the original. For this company ticks all the boxes. From enquiry to job completion every aspect of the work has been a joy to work with this company. A special mention and thank you to Paul who I would also recommend to anyone with respect to kitchen fitting.
When I read or hear about some of the horror stories relating to kitchen projects gone badly wrong it acts as a sober reminder to pay more for the best and get the best. It's not more expensive in the long term and the back up down the line is just in a different league.
As a bonus for buying Neff hob we also took delivery of a set of quality stainless pots and pans as per the picture.
As we already had a set from the original purchase these will make a welcome house warming gift for one of our daughters.

From our first contact with Coastal Kitchens we were impressed with their care and professionalism. Andy the owner created a design that made full use of the space and gave us several material options to choose from. Andy was always amenable to adjusting the design and materials to meet our preferences. Our old kitchen was removed with very little disruption and everything made good prior to fitting the new kitchen. The installation went particularly well, the kitchen quality, fit and finish was excellent. Our overall experience of Coastal Kitchens was very positive, the new kitchen has completely transformed our house.

This is the second kitchen I have bought from Andy. They have both been excellent. The kitchen I have just had fitted was fitted by Darren who did an excellent job working on his own. Given the weight of some parts of the kitchen I was surprised he had no-one to assist.

Delighted with everything about the design and construction of our new kitchen. Outstanding workmanship all round. No hesitation in giving the highest recommendation.

We are really pleased with our fantastic new kitchen. The design was just what we wanted and the build quality of the units are excellent. The fitting was very professionally done. A few minor problems that we had were sorted without fuss by Andy and Darren his fitter.

This is my 3rd Kitchen fitting with Coastal Kitchens and Andy's wonderful input. I would not go anywhere else for a kitchen. From the very start Andy was professional, considerate, caring and most of all 'listened' to what we wanted and needed. The design was spot on, advice with selection of kitchen was spot on, support choosing the right appliances was spot on. The whole process as SPOT ON. He was with us every step of the way with what we wanted, he provided regular check ins once work started - even from his overseas holiday destination he checked in - now that is good service. First Class service from start to finish if I could rate more than *****'s I would.

Andy always provided us with knowledgeable, open and honest advice and was very patient with the numerous design changes we requested. Working on his own, Darren, his fitter, was always precise and punctual with his work and also suggested some good ideas. Together, they make a good team which resulted in us now having a great new kitchen.

Coastal kitchens have been a pleasure from my first phone call to Andy asking for a new oven, to when it was fully installed in my kitchen. The quality is great and we genuinely couldn't be happier. Recommend using Coastal Kitchens!!!
