Small kitchen going very wrong. Order 34691697
* Our kitchen consists of chipboard units, two appliances, one sink and one tap, only the latter one was delivered correctly i.e. to the contract. Unwillingly, Wren agreed to replace 1 incorrect colour door, to supply missing (360 degree) door hinges and found a way to get us 1 out 2 appliances (elsewhere). At no point in time over the 3-4 hours calls did Wren apologise for failing to notify us of the shortage of both appliances, or to apologise for incorrectly supplied and/or missing parts. Moreover, on the latest call Wren agreed to supply us the correct/contractual sink "as a gesture of good will" after sending us one that was of incorrect design, colour and fully assembled suggesting it was an ex-display (or rejected somewhere else). Is this the way Wren's staff are trained to care for customers? Are customers expected to feel like Wren making us a favour in this instance?
** At the design stage we provided correct worktop surface measurements, Wren incompetent surveyor reduced the length and the worktop is too short (as he ignored comments about tiles and plaster yet to come off). Asked for the plinth to rectify (instead of a new worktop) but were made to feel like we are incompetent by the "Care" team and told to pay £170 if we want the plinth! A joke I thought, sadly - not.
*** No appliances, no upfront honestly of shortages, no information to when to expect short shipments, no warehouse they own to store your order so if short by the delivery date - it's your problem. Asked to confirm the oven is still on the order 5 days ago - no reply.
**** Written to the Owner (Mr Healey) and the CEO (Mr Pullan) of Wren.... I do not expect anything back but as an optimist still have a small spark of hope in my heart for a professional after-sales experience.
***** Joiner stopped saying "Wren is the best", the builder told us after our misery they will reconsider buying their next kitchen from Wren.

We are absolutely thrilled with our Wren kitchen and only have positive things to say. We first went into the Lincoln Wren showroom in June 2021, where I must admit as 60-year-old women, I was like a kid in a sweetshop. The kitchens were fabulous, and I was thinking just with my heart at how lovely they were. When Andrew the salesperson sat down with us, together we designed our new kitchen using the wonderful three D computer (the first draft- he assured us there would be more, although at the time, we were confident the design he did was exactly what we wanted). The design incorporated two walls coming down and another going up, so we knew this was not going to be an easy job. We decided to go with our own fitters for the simple reason they were going to do all the building work too, so it made sense. We had booked the builders to come in March 22, which gave us a bit of time to add to our savings as we did not want to take our finance. As time went on, I dreamed of more units to add to our kitchen, and hence we went back for another consultation and added more. Again, I was thinking with my heart and wanted more of this and more of that. As time went on, I sat down with my provisional pack and my head started to take over and I began to look at exactly how much this was going to cost us. By this time Andrew had left and Jon had taken over. We arranged a consultation with Jon, whereby together we were able to change some of the units and appliances for cheaper (albeit just as good) ones. We kept the Neff ‘hide and slide’ ovens, but changed the hob and extractor fan to CDA, and the integral washing machine, dishwasher and fridge to cheaper models (I had researched these makes, and was happy that they were just as good as the top of the range appliances we had originally gone for). We also changed side panels that were going up against walls, to fixer posts, thereby saving money and we sourced our own handles and wet bar sink. We managed to reduce the cost of the kitchen quite substantially by allowing our heads to rule and not our hearts. Come March 2022, the builders started on the preparation work. Our new kitchen arrived as planned on 4th April. The delivery team unloaded it for us, and on first sight we could not see any damages. As we unpacked, there were a few doors that we damaged and a couple of items missing. I went straight onto the Wren app and arranged for new items to be delivered. There was absolutely no problems or cost to us by Wren and the items were delivered in a matter of days. Between Andrew, Jon and our wonderful team of builders, we have the most amazing kitchen. We are absolutely thrilled with it.

From start to finish it was stress free, staff were helpful, delivery on time. The customer helpline was very good, I noticed a slight mark on a cabinet door and a mark on the enameled sink, phoned them replacements were sent out straight away. Now the kitchen is installed I am very pleased with the quality, price and service.

After paying a fortune for what we expected to be a lovely kitchen, we have had no end of problems with the flooring & Wren Aftercare/ Warranty has been absolutely terrible. The floor panels keep breaking apart, they never levelled a section of the flooring but put the floor over existing tiles so the strip where the wall was removed is a totally different height to the rest of the room and they didn't clear the floor properly so a piece of rubble is now pushing through and splitting a panel.

We paid extra to have a lot of work done by Wren's own fitters to ensure we were properly covered in the event of any issues and they are completely not interested!

We've been told WE have to remove all the flooring - my husband has just had life saving cancer surgery in which his stomach, spleen & adrenal gland all had to be removed and there's No Way he can do it. Then we've been told it's down to us to get 3 quotes to have it redone privately and only after that will they 'think' about making a decision whether to help or not!

Any workmanship we have done privately, aside from the fact all the decent tradesmen are booked up for months, will invalidate Wren's Warranty on workmanship and we'd then still have to deal with possible future issues with a private company which we might as well have employed in the first place and saved ourselves thousands on the labour costs!

If you like to be left without a hob, central heating and access to a washing machine for over 4 weeks, then this is the company for you.
Who needs a tap and sink that drains in their kitchen anyway?
If you like having a garage full of kitchen waiting to be installed for over 5 weeks, then please do feel free to part with your hard earned money here.
If you like to deal with a different person each time you contact them and their head office, then look no further than Wren for your next kitchen.

Very pleased with overall experience. The guy at the showroom in Lincoln was very knowledgeable and helpful.Gave us lots of helpful tips.We had a private team to install the kitchen units.Furniture is well made and good quality. They sent a faulty shelf, but one was extra so all good.Had the best prices for the appliances we chose so that was a bonus. Will definitely buy from them again.

Wren fitted a new kitchen for me in March this year. The fitters were excellent and Wren worked quickly to iron out the small issues we experienced. The new kitchen is everything I wanted and I am delighted with the quality of the kitchen and the service we received. I would recommend Wren to anybody wanting a new kitchen.

Good experience at Peterborough through design but trying to contact the branch after the sale is poor. Customer services if you've have nothing to do and got an hour or more to spend hanging on the phone to get through. We paid over £20 k for ours and trying to purchase an extra wall unit took us half a dozen calls over 4 months before anyone bothered to return the call only to find out the kitchen was now discontinued.
