The receptionist was friendly and efficient and Chloe the sales executive was very good. The dealership was fitted out to a very high standard. All these things made buying my Land Rover a pleasant experience. Thank you

Thought we'd just call in and see what they had to offer. WOW! Having been greeted by the receptionist, what a pleasant lady, we were asked if we had any particular requirements/ interests for this visit and were then introduced to Trevor Whitley, sales exec. We expressed our interest in the "New" Range Rover and had a raft of questions. Trevor listened and responded knowledgeably to all our questions acknowledging that the vehicle would be my wife's car and it was her he was dealing with principally (I get to have ago high days and holidays). What a breath of fresh air Trevor was, no " I would have this" or " No you don't want that" and never any sense of urgency to sign us up and then move on to the next victim.
Having explained everything from the "lead time" on new build to the ordering/ spec confirmation process Trevor made sure that we were happy and understood what would be involved and the timeline we'd be looking at.
Having dealt with a lot of larger dealerships alot closer to home and being left disheartened by their arrogance and shoddy perception of what good customer service is all about we have both come away feeling that we've finally found a dealership that is big enough to cope but small enough to provide that personal touch were by the "customers needs and satisfaction" are paramount to their success as a dealer.
The results of the above are that the vehicle has been speced and once we've let it sink in we'll be popping back to confirm the order and start what we hope will be a long and satisfying relationship with "Hatfields Land Rover Pickering "

Excellent experience from start to finish. Receptionist was very welcoming and friendly and I was met by the manager Jason Ford who was extremely helpful. His knowledge on cars was astonishing and never felt rushed. We test drove 3 cars and after settling on a model, Jason went above and beyond to find me a good deal. At no point did I feel he was angling for a sale, it was such an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be coming back to Jason and his team for my next car!!!

Very pleased with the Land Rover Discovery Sport, however, less so with after sales service. Tyre pressure warning light on first journey, 4 mid range tyres on vehicle not what you expect for a marque car, Land Rover assist not activated therefore break down on second journey left me stranded at night 3 hours from home (not one call from dealer to check if I got home). Need I go on...?

Good sales experience to hook you with their vehicle, but a horrible and expensive aftersale experience.

I bought an SVR north of £73 grand just a month ago, thinking that I made the right choice by choosing an approved LR dealership. Took a 3-hour train from London to York, which I was promised to get paid for, but not yet until now. Anyway, I buy the car all good, drive back 4 hours and a half, next day a squeaky sound is very obvious. I report it immediately by email to the person who sold the car to me, and he put me off by saying all was checked and it must be some dust and debris in the brakes. Tested the vehicle and washed it a few times, but it persists. Call again to talk about the matter but still can’t take responsibility and keep saying the same thing. After a couple weeks, I take the car to a local workshop and paid almost £90 to check the 4 brake pads and discs, turns out they gave out the car to me with %80 worn rear pads and non genuine front pads!!!!!

This was a huge shock, I called and emailed them many times until I got a response, now they said it must have been due to my driving and non-social behaviour with the car!!!! Who on EARTH can wear-out brake pads in 2 days!!!????? Oh and by the way, the inspection showed an oil leak from the rear differential too, another shocking surprise.

Now they refuse to take responsibility for this issue and they are completely ignoring my emails and calls. Stay away from these people at all costs!

Purchased 3 Land Rovers from Hatfields over the last 3 years with 2 currently on order.
Superb service from Charles in business and the sales staff, together with the team in service.
I'm struggling to think of how customer service can be improved. Oh yes .... more discount! :)

I used Hatfileds for the first time, and as I am 300 miles away it was important to get efficient & clear responses to my questions. Chloe was helpful from the first contact. Hatfields were prepared to listen to my needs, and as a direct result of the helpful communication, I bought a car from them. I would have no hesitation in buying from them again.

Yes I was fobbed off. My DiscoverySport went to Pickering for recall work on the power steering. The car had no faults before going in. Two days after collecting the car the rear camera stopped working. I have had no issues with the camera before. Why do Hatfields assume that I am not telling the truth. Their default setting seems to be ‘do not take responsibility’. Very poor response from a main dealer.
