Such a clean laundry. I only needed the dryer but £2 for 20mins and my laundry was dry No wet washing hanging about at home. Laundry baskets available. Nice waiting area with magazines

Such a friendly and positive experience. First time using this laundrette and the owner could not have been more helpful. Clean premises and machines. Large duvet £9.00 for clean (in £2 or £1 coins). Plus own powder although also available to buy on site. £3.00 for drying cycle. Total outlay a Bargain!

One of the best launderettes in the area. Well maintained, clean, clear instructions, telephone numbers etc. Lovely to have the use of baskets, seating area clean and comfortable. Good close by parking.

Used this whilst on holiday and it did the job but make sure you have some pound coins as the local shops don't like giving change for the launderette

Very popular and well supported laundrette on the Nowton Estate which is used by many customers. There are 6 washing machines with load capacities of 10,14 and 18kgs respectively. The big 18kg is suitable for duvets which is mostly what it’s used for. Washes take around 30 minutes and the same for tumble dry as well. You can get pound coins from Jeff the attendant as well if you need any.
I use it every time and whilst it’s washing or drying, I pop round to the pub which is just round the corner.

I went into the Launderette today with a car full of washing and had no idea how to use the machines, the dryers or how it all worked. The guy who is there was so helpful he made it very easy for me without making me feel like I was sticking out like a sore thumb! He helped me through every step and I left with a car full of freshly washed & dried clothes, towels and bedding ready to be put away. He even helped me carry the large bags back to my car. He was such a pleasant man - what a fantastic service. I would definitely highly recommend this clean and superbly maintained and effective Launderette . I will definitely be returning, especially as I know what to do now!! Thank you

The owner is very kind and friendly, I'm sorry I forgot his name but pre-Covid, he would bring out books and toys for my daughter to entertain herself with while our cycles finished. During Covid seems to be doing all the precautions, very clean and tidy. Machines have always worked well, and if they have change in shop they'll try to help you. Lovely place and very useful service. Thanks!
