I used Ratcliffes to do our Wills as they had been on the 'other side' of transactions and were always professional and gracious. I am so pleased that I did. Emily King was very professional, friendly and guided us both so that our all wishes were met. Highly recommended.

I used Luke Mays as a conveyancer for my house sale and purchase. He was very quick to respond and updated me on progress regularly. He was always available on the phone when I had a question. Overall, I was very pleased with the service Luke provided. Thank you !

Ratcliffes and Luke Mays are representing my ex-wife in conveyancing process. Saying that they are slow would be a real compliment to them - they are dragging the process and take ages to reply to my solicitors.

Additionally, tried calling them and they just were rude and hanged up on me. Would you expect such toxic and rude attitude from a professional firm? Bunch of cowboys in my opinion.

There have been numerous delays on your side and saying otherwise constitutes nothing short of lying on public forum. Luke`s inaction, as I already noted in my email to him this morning (which he is ignoring as I received no reply) - is contrary to the Consent Order.

As to your point re: "explained to you this morning" - you explained very well your position by deliberately terminating the call twice. One might say that your actions and attitude are a disgrace to representatives of Legal profession, but then again - don`t think anyone who cares about their case would ever instruct Ratcliffes.

A rating of 1 star is generous for this ‘company’. My first encounter with Ratcliffes was with Mandy. I was told to come into the office to provide my bank details. To say she was rude would be a compliment. I first assumed she was just bringing her problems to work but later to find out that’s just her personality. But I would be just as miserable working for this company as well, so I understand. The communication I had with Ratcliffes was non existent. They never followed up with what they tol the simplest of procedures such as confirming bank details on their letters, when they do send them, they contain basic spelling mistakes. The whole energy of the business has a pretty relaxed vibe of dragging their feet and not one bit considering other people. One time I tried to get in contact with Ratcliffes, I sent a total of 10 emails and 5 phone calls without a single response. I then sent a final email telling them I will be in the area shortly and will pop into the office to get confirmation, and suddenly I got a response! How this company is still in business is a miracle.

Very happy with the house conveyancing service provided by Ratcliffes. Mine was a complex situation and I know that my solicitor worked extremely hard. So much better than an online house conveyancing company. Everything was then finished and completed for me by Luke Mays - good at communicating with me and very helpful. Great relief when I finally moved in!

Yet again found Ratcliffes service to be excellent and professional, this time in respect of house selling. They resolved an unexpected issue with efficiency and expediency. Would recommend.
