Dovedale Sports Centre

When we gave up on Riverside's appalling booking policies Dove dales always seams to have reasonable availability. Lighting could be improved and shouty karate kids told to keep it down, you are sharing a facility, have some respect for other users.

Can only review the Circuit Training class , but from what I've seen it's excellent, after 1 hour I feel like I've just come off SAS who dares wins, so it's pretty good. Staff are also really helpful and friendly.

Only use it for squash every weekend. Since the prices went up 50% I've had nothing but trouble. The lights not switched on, doors still locked even had a karate class on the court i booked the week before. Then when you ask your made to feel its all too much trouble. yesterday 8th Sept i was told i was on court three then when i went back to ask for the doors to be unlocked i was told no i'm on court when there was someone already on there. And why when you book on line do you have to select which country i am booking from.

Enjoyed playing squash here. Nice and friendly staff at the reception. Easy online booking process. Cost of playing squash higher than in my regular place though! Squash courts have scope to be improved.

Cosy and tranquil aren't usually the words one would associate with a gym but that's what this felt like.

Dovedale Sports Centre is well managed. Staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Facilities clean and tidy.

Nice unpretentious sports centre. Good for squash and badminton. The only downside is the changing rooms are too hot and you can"t cool down after a game of squash. Just turn off the heating. It's not needed.

First time attending a class here. Staff really friendly and welcoming, nice dance studio, great class. Looking forward to returning
