Hatfield Library

Very obliging staff in what is a very busy library. Baby Rhyme time is very popular so get there a bit early. There are lots of computers and a seperate area for children to use. It can be a bit noisy, so if you need quiet study it may not suit you, but if you have headphones for example you could listen to your music - so long as it does not disturb anyone else of course.

Decent sized library, Hertfordshire libraries seem pretty well organised. They have quite a lot of resources (computers etc even a 3d printer I think) and events for various ages that are worth checking out.

Staff on enquiries desk was lovely as anything. Explained process.of library card and even gave the kids a lovely certificate for them having their first library card which was really lovely touch. Book areas divided with sections nicely labeled. Kids section is lovely and very accessible for the children.

Amazing and friendly staff. The receptionist explained everything so well and onboarded us so easily. Good quality books and easy process. The best kept library I have been to.

Have managed to offer a level of service through most of the pandemic, so thank you for that. Most services are up and running again now It can be busy so if you want quiet study the best area is the creator space. Just glad you are there, really loved it when you put bundles of books together for us.
