Birchwood Medical Practice

Excellent service and I have been well looked after over the years since moving to Lincoln.

Rang up to see how I get a sick note, but the receptionist was incredibly rude. Which I always find when ever I ring up. Spoke over me and didn't even ask if I can make it into the surgery considering I've had flu for the past week. Just said I need to ring up at 8 the next day. I give up with this practice. Getting an appointment is like getting blood from a stone. So I didn't bother ringing back and I've gone back to work. Need to re-evaluate the receptionists there.

Rude and condescending receptionists that can't wait to get you off the phone after having waiting god knows how long. Nobody seems to solve problems, you just get passed around. Actually getting to see a GP is made into a full on mission

I moved to this surgery a year ago and I am overwhelmed with the service from all the staff . well done to all that work there x

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT..!!!. Reception staff are so polite,helpful & the doctors are all extremely fantastic.THIS IS THE BEST SURGERY I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS (100%)..

Dr Armstrong is my favourite doctor. Nurses are excellent.
Having physio at moment and worth the wait.
Receptionist are always friendly and helpful.

My partner and I recently registered with this practice. So far, been very impressed. Dealt with Dr. Gough regarding a problem. Prompt phone call and the necessary prescription issued. Receptionist, Ashley, extremely pleasant and helpful. Having come from a not so good practice, very reassuring to be registered with an efficient, caring practice.
We decided to go with this practice as our next door neighbour was seriously ill and one of the doctors, Dr. Williams, visited him several times at home following his discharge from hospital🤗.

Poor management and poor methods of practice in booking appointments in advance.
Plus every time I've been I've had to see a different doctor, i don't have a gp just whatever doctor isn't busy.

I thought my old doctors in gainsborough was poor for having a 6 week waiting for appointments, but this is even worse.
