St Peter's Surgery

I am genuinely worried about the way you conduct yourselves as a practice very unprofessional unresponsive service. fundamentally you guys are awful and i know for a fact other patients feel the same. I would put in an official complaint but its a waste of time I don't think there is enough money and suggestions in the world to fix the shambles you call a practice.
What surgery has reviews on Google saying the staff are abusive to patients you should be closed down intact no I am putting in a complaint if I done my job the way you do yours I would be fired on the first day joke

One of the worst GP's you can imagine. GP verbally abused my wife and a special-needs friend of mine. No online appointment system, you need to phone on the day. Difficult to reach on the phone, and when you do, you're greeted by "No availability today" even though it is 5 minutes after opening.

Phoned the surgery on the 6/09/2022 to book an appointment for my girlfriend as the surgery had messaged to ask her to book an appointment as soon as possible as her medication needed to be reviewed urgently. I was told on the phone that all bookings were gone and to call back on the 12/09/2022. I was dismayed at this due to the nature of the appointment and the urgency that it pertains to but thought I’d wait and try again on the Monday. Called back on the Monday and spent the better part of 20 mins on hold after which I decided to call back a little later as I was at work. After 3 more calls and waiting on average for 20 mins I finally got through only to be told to call back again next Monday. Even after explaining the situation and the urgency all the receptionist would say was that she apologised for any inconvenience and to try calling next Monday. Completely stunned that there is no urgency placed on an appointment that the surgery informed us was urgent. I’m totally disgusted with the service provided.

If you voted this awful government in then you shouldn’t be moaning! The staff at St. Peter’s are doing their absolute best to look after us all. I always have a positive experience with both GPs and receptionists.

I had my appointment today. The doctor said that there is a lot of going on with me and he does not have a time to listen because he has lots of patients and I have to book a new appointment. I said that I tried to book the appointment for weeks and when finally have one there is not time to listen to me. The doctor said to me that everyone says that and after my appointment he has to write a letter so he does not have a time because patients are waiting in the waiting room. I was in the room max 10 minutes.

I am not that kind of person that leave reviews in every single place I go however this one is well deserved. I have been requested by my clinic to do a chlamydia test at my GP (which is St. Peters), a very simple test using just urine. I have done 4 TIMES a simple urine test and they were all refused. That is absolutely a joke!!! I have never seen in my life such incompetent professionals that are not capable to learn with their own mistakes. I about to pay £100 in a private place to this test (for the 5th time) because I cannot go for this anymore! The WORST GP in Southampton!!!

Can't get through on the telephone, econsults are ignored, and if you are one of the lucky ones you'll get an impatient practitioner who can't wait to get you out of the building. I've never been to a GP practice like it.

Has to be the worst run practice in southampton. Issues from everyone I’ve spoken with. Rude receptionist who doesn’t ever seem to want to help and just tells you to call back next week (whilst waiting in a queue for over 1 hour each time, and most likely hoping you will go away and die quietly). Absolutely horrifically run, a disgrace to the NHS and quite literally the reason in what is wrong with the institution, needs a serious looking into because nothing is right here, they aren’t providing proper care to patients and don’t seem to care in the slightest.
