Winchmore Hill Practice

A very buzy practice.
I love the fact that if you need a doctors apointment urgently you are always given one.
However bad experiences with misplaced paper work and failure with the referral system is a minus.
The in the practice pharmacist is a blessing.

When first joined in early 2005 this surgery was good, now I either have to wait or get asked questions regarding my medication. Wished they would provide anticoagulant service there instead ofme having to go to a different GP. Plus they message me for the results of my test and pester me if information is not to their liking.

WARNING MAY CAUSE DEATH! This surgery should come with a warning. I’m a huge supporter of our NHS and I’m sure the doctor are great, if you get to see one but their reception is truly awful. I have had on going issues with them for the past 24 months and they just don’t care. These people are the face of the surgery and they are either understaffed or/and under trained to deal with the general public. What makes it worse is they simply don’t give a toss, their attitude stinks telling me to write a complaint to somebody that may or may not care. If you are looking at surgeries in the area give this one a miss, you can thank me later!

I called this morning about a general enquiry as I didnt need an appointment and was digitally told that I was still number 19 in the queue. As it wasn't an urgent medical matter, I thought I could email them instead and they would reply eventually and I didnt need to put anymore extra pressure on their staff and system. However, when I clicked the email button on their website, surprise surprise it doesn't work and takes you absolutely nowhere. All if not most NHS services have a very weak and unreliable digital presence, and if they do they are never maintained or even working, like in this case. They don't seem to realise how much more efficient and easier it would be for them, and how much it would improve their patients experience. It now means I will be forced to call them back and wait around 45 minutes before, my call is answered, which is completely unessassry.

Complete waste of time getting up at 8 to arrange a face to face appointment. Seems like certain GP are not interested at all and should leave the profession. Went there with high blood pressure, they couldn't be bothered to take a reading. Have a stomach lump and pain, no physical examination, requested blood test with thyroid and they forgot to mark the blood test paper for thyroid. Absolute disgrace and waste of tax payers money

Worst surgery ever became, results are missing few months, specialists send results they can't find them and can't do treatment, saying to contact again specialist to send again results(3rd time). After still can't find . Since June i haven't received any treatment. RIDICULOUS
Don't come to this surgery for the treatment. I can only imagine what could happen to very ill people, with life threatening problems.
Even one star it's too much.

Nurse Lynzie is absolutely amazing, she made me feel so comfortable for my routine check up and is very knowledgeable as well. She went beyond the call of duty when seeing me as I am a very nervous patient. Thank you Lynzie!
