Generally for the few times I have used their services I would rate them positively, however, I recently received a text message requesting that I took my BP and forward results and also book a blood test. I did the former with no issues but it took 8 attempts and 25 minutes waiting to talk to request blood test. On the only occasion I actually spoke to someone following 8 minutes at "next in line" the receptionist informed me that they had no test available and if I understood what she said then I needed to compete on a daily basis to get one? No Thank you!!!

In all my long years, I've always found this surgery and its staff one of the best.
As an RAF veteran where medicine is a leader. This comparison is not too exaggerated maybe?
Our NHS is what makes UK unique.
Currently, this Practice suffers from 'pressures of work', result of Government action: a Government more interested in the art of privatisation than the art of medicine.
The 'wealth' of Fareham Borough prefer rhetoric more than factual evidence.

I have used their services rarely, I would rate he doctors and nurses positively, however the receptionists have always been like a box of sweets- you never know what you are going to get and a few flavor may not be to your liking- reception rate them 2/10 - primarily for sharing inaccurate information or being plainly rude. I recently received a text message requesting that I took my BP and forward results and which was followed by another text to book a blood test. After several attempts , someone answered the phone this evening and she asked me to call back later in the week. She was cutting me constantly and wasnt listening. I'd rather go to another GP

I guess like like most GP surgery’s this one is poor at best. The booking system is bizarre, inefficient and generally puts one off using the NHS. In more than 10 years with this surgery, I have never seen my own doctor nor the same doctor twice. It’s absolutely not what it should be.

In my personal experience this practice is excellent. The staff is always helpful. I can compare it with my previous GP practice, the difference is enormous. Would highly recommend.

It's near impossible to book an appointment, let alone been actually seen by a GP. They still do their distance diagnosis over the phone while refusing to see you and do a proper analysis. And if you can't take their call (not all of us have all day 'free' of commitments) that's it, wait another week or two. And why in modern times they don't accept email communication?

My mum has been at this surgery for years. In the last three she has been diagnosed with cancer. During this time, not once has a Dr contacted her and now they’re stopping her six weekly b12 injection which costs a matter of pence. Without regular injections mum is unsteady on her feet, forgetful and is unable to function properly. She could fall and break her hip which would cost the NHS a great deal more. The impression we both have is that they do not care about their patients, which is a horrible way to feel when you’re 87 and unwell. We will be leaving the surgery and hoping for a better experience elsewhere.

Had an awful experience with one of the partner doctors (DR Cole) he had a very Rude and condescending attitude and doesn't even let you fully explain your concerns before cutting you off with sarcastic comments. I first did an NHS e consult, which advised me to contact either 111 or my GP based on my symptoms. So why I was met with such a rude response I do not know. I myself also work within a medical field (Veterinary) and have family members and close family friends who work within Human Medicine and so we understand the levels of compassion and duty of care that are required, something that this DR clearly doesn't seem to have. Safe to say I'm pleased I will no longer require this doctor's surgery once I move.
