i woukd 0 stars if i could. the sevice is disgusting from the doctors, the recepnionist are lovely and very help ful.my husband was on the verge of a heart attack he was asked if he wanted an ecg.ASK!so he said yes.when we got back into his room he said.you may want to make your way to the hospital.we left and got at taxi. little did we know his heart was in arrhythmia and could go bang at any time.he was in hospital for 4 weeks! he was going to go home and rest.just a well he didn't. no real care has been given to him for the treatment of his heart condition.they have just stuffed him full of medication.he has been in and out of hospital with near fatal attacks continuously.the medication has cause numerous problems.plus other bad help from doctors for all my family and i. i whish we could move to a real doctors.but the nurses cannot be faulted they are better than the doctors! my husband is now fighting cancer.I am so thankful he is being treated in London.

If i could give 0 stars i would. I recently wanted to make appointment, so i called, i was number 3 in line, after 49mins i got through to receptionist (this is after being number 1 waiting for 27mins). I asked to see a doctor and was asked what is it i need to talk to doctor about. I said have a problem at night, have to get up at least 4 times to go wee due to my enlarged prostate, i mentioned sometimes it just drips, and i have a problem with my left knee it hurts to walk. She said thats 2 things and we can only see youfor one. Asked me to choose which one i want to talk about first, and to talk to doctor about the other problem i have to call again. I am 70 years old, paid my dues during my working days national insurance contributions etc etc. And now this is the way i am being served by this surgery. I have been diagnosed with lymphomas on my spine and have been on waiting list for left knee replacements for at least 10 years. Yes 10 years no misprint. Do not know what is happening in my old age.
Its funny how a review changes things against you. Called this morning regarding my other problem (see top) and after another 45mins or so i was answered. Told doctor will call. Doctor called and everthing went well with doctor. When i put the phone down i forgot to tell doctor about something concerning what we talked about. So i called back and again i waited for another 40 mins plus to be answered. Asked receptionist to see if the dictor can call me back but she was adamant i call tomorrow at 8am to make appointment. I knew i was not going to get anywhere so i agreed but i did ask her why does it take so long to answer a call. Its funny what i got in reply. They where short staffed today due to 2 staff off sick with covid. Again its funny how i got the same reply 2 weeks ago when asked the same question. Please i beg you at nuffield house clean your house up and start treating your patients as patients, not some toys you can play about with.
PS she even slammed the phone on me. Time was 3pm if someone can queery why.

For the past 3 weeks I have been trying to get through to Nuffield Surgery, Once through I am constantly told I am number 1 in the queue I am waiting usually around 40 to 50 minutes (then I give up), I am phoning nearly every day. Surely they can not be busy all this time as when I was at the surgery 3
months ago I was the only person
In the waiting room, the receptionist was no where to be seen plus when she did appear she told a patient that he couldn't make an appointment as he would need to phone up. That's a laugh as no one answers. Is very frustrating once you do get to talk to them as they are so rude you can not challenge them all all as you have posters everywhere stating you need to be respectful. I refuse to go to A&E as they advise as its for emergencies not for things that a GP should be seeing you for.

I left this surgery a couple of months ago and it was the best decision I made. The doctor's are great, the nurse's are lovely, the receptionist are awful!! Very passive aggressive, unapproachable and rude!
If I could I would have given 0 stars.

Most useless doctors, never answer the phones and when they do they tell you That you have to call at 8 even tho you’ve just been trying for 3 hours. Rude staff only offer day release appointments yet you can’t get through when told to call either on hold or “call can’t be answered at this time” then the call ends. Will be registering else where!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Receptionists are very rude and act as if they are nurses or Doctors asking you unnecessary questions when you want to book appointment with your Gp. They should learn how to speak to people and to be trained properly. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable!

It's no wonder the NHS is in trouble with such incompetence and unnecessary waste of funds.
In November my father had a blood test during a home visit. An appointment to discuss results was a month later at which time the doctor said the results showed low sodium levels which is dangerous in elderly, but because test was a month ago he needed a new test. A week later a new test was done, phoned for results and given an appointment a month later again. MAJOR INCOMPETENCE

Can you leave zero stars?
Disgusted with JULIE the ‘Hello I am the supervisor’ - who refuses to let a GP see my 5 year old son with a temperature of 38.9… told me to go to accident and emergency! Funny that! You lot can’t be bothered any more up there! Pass it all to the hospital and let the pressure build because you all want an easy life! I’m disgusted! Truly DISGRACEFUL. Rude woman also ‘I’m getting fed up now and I’m terminating the call, goodbye’ RUDE. You must only be able to work there if you pass the test on rudeness. You should be ashamed of yourself Julie. I’ll be moving practice. You’re nothing but a pain in the backside anyway!!!! Been with the surgery since 1989 but for some reason, you’re all on a power trip.
