Castle Gardens Medical Centre

Receptionist very rude, no empathy or understanding .I was stuck in traffic. Was told appointment cancelled as more than 10 minutes late,even though I was in a queue for 7 minutes before being tended to at the reception.
The purpose of appointment was very extremely sensitive and unavoidable...
Where has the old Castle garden with values and respect for patients gone...
You deserve no stars at all.Utter disgrace!!!!!

Have been trying to ring up to book an appointment that was recommended I have to do by the doctor there as a result of a serious heart problem. 4 months later and a call nearly every day during that 4 months and no luck, changed gp this morning. This gp needs a real overhaul and shift of management.

severe tonsillitis couldn't get me in for an appointment at all, so ill I went to AE who saw me immediately as I was unable to swallow. I changed to this doctor, as East Hill Surgery left my coil in for 1 year expired. Both seem as bad at getting an appointment when you are really in need. Thankfully AE sorted, yet it took me a day to feel well enough to even get there as it is so far out of town.

Since registering at this surgery I have been delighted that there is an open surgery and you can see a doctor or nurse practitioner on the day without making an appointment weeks in advance.
Always accomodating and helpful, cannot understand negative reviews!

Receptionists seem very helpful. Seen in about 30 minutes. Doctor 1 speedy direct but good (better for those waiting. 2nd doctor took more time, empathetic, into nurse appointment 20 mins early. All in all impressed

Totally rude receptionist.. 2 weeks to ignore an email which was politely put.. Decided to pop directly into the surgery to no avail.. We're all busy within the workplace; I certainly wouldn't convey that to people when I'm at work in any manner, it's unprofessional. My husband is NHS and has never done that.

Have found them most helpful and understanding, even if they can't help they give advice.most pleasant

October 2022 asked for a referral to a spine doctor, February 2023 find out never referred me.

Partner saw doctor for a mark on her arm, told it was nothing however she asked for 2nd opinion from hospital, turns out it was cancer.
