Cranleigh Gardens Medical Centre

My husband and I joined Cranleigh Garden Medical Centre 2 years ago.

The doctors I have seen are lovely. The waiting times are pretty much on time. The surgery is always clean & tidy & I like the fact that the reception desk is away from the waiting area, so it is more private.

The pharmacy next to the surgery is great. Open late & weekends. Very friendly staff and never a problem with my medication. Oh, and it has an automatic entrance, which is a must for me.

Find the reception team runs this doctors practice. I had an appt once whereupon I waited an hour for this new doctor who happen to be "on time" with appts. I had an airport run so had to leave and the receptionist had the nerve to say "you aren't keeping your appt the?"... My appt love was an hour ago 😡 I also had an operation and Shepton mallett told me to have my dressings changed at doctors but they didn't have time to see me so I had to go back Shepton mallet then the receptionist gave me appts and when I arrived they weren't put on for the nurse so I couldn't be seen, Shepton Mallett was fuming and emailed doctors to complain. I had a bug in my wound and was admitted to hosp but they weren't bothered the dressing needed changing and the nurse even had a go at me cos the hosp never gave me any dressings and I had to use hers...... Been with Brent House for nearly 40 years but since these doctors and receptionist came in its a complete mess.... My daughter had a RTA and hosp told her to go to doctors following week and doctor refused twice to see her..... Told her to take a pain killer..... Complaint ongoing before it goes to medical board... Dr Gilmore-White is the only one I trust after my stroke as doctor Pal wasn't worried about my BP and it was higher than hosp recommended. DR G-White happen to look at my records, called me in and it was even higher and had kept an eye on me since, very good doctor indeed.... Need a shake up

Always so helpful and very much a can do attitude by reception staff.
Quick service (but can be a long wait time on the phone).
Promised calls back done in good time.

Absolutely rubbish don’t actually listen or check medical records!…. Tell you that you can do things that you physically can’t???? Or mentally can’t without even knowing you I’m fuming.
Certainly not a caring kind understanding doctor there. Disgusting surgery

Reception are very happy to help and personable which makes it easier to ring and book appointments. Nurses and doctors are fantastic. I wouldn't go to any other surgery!

kept telling me i had arthritis for months, finally demanded an x-ray and get told no sign of arthritis and finally referred to someone who knows what they are doing, been in pain for months needlessly. absolute joke these people get paid what they do for the service they provide. ran out of pain meds a month ago taken them this long to give me a telephone appointment for a "review" waste of time.

I am absolutely shocked that they are asking me for Id after I requested the linkage key details to access my NHS APP, I NEVER chose to go to this practice after the collapse of Victoria Park, mind you I have been in to see the nurse at Cranleigh yet they NEVER asked for Id then and I could of been anyone, I can see this being a disaster, and these centres are meant to be here to HELP you, not stand in your way, again this is secretaries thinking they are the hierarchy of the system..... Not a happy patient..... 😡
