I called Cleevelands Medical Centre Friday a week ago to say that I had an infection and needed an antibiotic. I was told that they could not prescribe me anything over the phone, which is fair, but I would need to make an emergency telephone appointment which could only be at 8am and the earliest appointment was 10 days from then. I said that I could call at 8am but I would be at work as a teacher and would not be able to take calls during the day and did not think I could wait that long, and as I was calling during the Surgery's opening hours why could she not make the appointment now, but was dismissed. Subsequently a week later I noticed I had blood in my urine so called 111 and managed to get an emergency appointment at Cheltenham Hospital where I was given antibiotics and the treatment I needed over a week ago!

With reluctance I have to make an emergency phone call to Cleevelands Medical Centre tomorrow morning at 8am, as I need to have a follow up appointment. I understand the surgery is busy but not all conditions can wait 10 days and not everyone is available at a time to suit the surgery.

I called the surgery Friday morning to ask for a call back as I had an insect bite I was worried about. I have a history of insect bites becoming infected (my medical history on file will confirm) The GP that called me back was pretty patronising and told me I had to wait 5 days and even then he would probably not prescribe antibiotics. I've spent 4 hours at Cheltenham A&E today having blood tests and almost put on intravenous antibiotics to treat the infection. What waste of the NHS's time, the GP could have prevented it all by perhaps reading my notes and listening more to me.

This surgery has been without a doubt the worst that I've ever been to. Everytime I speak to a doctor here they have been generally condescending, andseem to have little to no concern for on going issues, unless you tell them that you're going private of course. It makes me sick to my stomach how I've been treated here. I will be submitting a detailed report of my personal experience to the NHS about this.

This surgery has been fantastic, I’m so pleased we moved to here. The drs and nurses are lovely. The reception team are very polite and friendly. I have always managed to get an appointment when needed. Never kept waiting for ages in the waiting room like my old surgery that used to run an hour behind sometimes!

A great medical centre, with helpful staff that are all hard-working. At times, I do feel a bit rushed with the nurses/doctors I have seen 😞. But it’s obvious, this is all this down to our UK government and their deliberate poorly handling of the NHS.

Excellent all round care and service. Including Badhams. Very very clean.

It was almost 5pm on Friday 16 April 2021 and I went into the surgery as I had just sliced my thumb open. The receptionist was great but I want to single out Joe the nurse, she not only took the time to assess my wound but as it couldn't be stitched she cleaned it and dressed it saving me a trip to A & E. Joe was brilliant kind caring and nothing was too much trouble. She is the epitome of a caring nurse and a credit to both Cleevelands and the NHS.

I am appalled by this surgery. My fiancé has been coughing up blood with a high temperature. She was contacted by a "fully qualified nurse" who said keep using her inhaler and was given no more information without asking questions. I called the surgery to complain and wanted more doing. They agreed to make another call with a doctor. The doctor called and could not get her of the phone quick enough - No investigation, no face-to-face meeting, no advice on what to do to help. Absolutely disgusted by this newly built medical centre.
